  1. Nice truck...the only thing I don't love about mine is.........well nothing LOL I have had mine since last October and sill smile every time I get in it.
  2. Right on...gorgeous truck, that passenger's leg looks pretty nice too I hadn't seen the chrome (or highly polished) drive shaft in your other pics or maybe just missed it. Very nice Sir, very nice.
  3. Thank you and Thank you for your Service PM sent with one last silly question.
  4. Thank you, do the grommets come with the cover?
  5. What's that old saying? It's all pink on the inside... Anyway, I doubt many people mistake mine for a work truck LOL, especially when they hear it. It hides dirt really well, stays significantly cooler in the summer, swirl marks are darn near impossible to see (if you have any) and pretty much any accessory goes well...red hooks, chrome hooks, black wheels, chrome wheels you get my drift...even purple goes with white
  6. Hey Chris...I can't take the thank you for being a LE...that was a picture I used to show that here in Florida the FHP has dark tinted windows. I am retired USAF after 22.5 years though But like you, I appreciate all our First Responders so cheers! BUT...my buddy is and his son picked up this 53 Suburban!
  7. Do you know if that part number listed in that thread works on a 2018 Sierra 6.2? It shows for a 2014 Caddy 6.2 and 2015 Suburban 5.3
  8. Haven’t read that yet...hope it’s compatible with the 2018 ?
  9. Your engine bay looks great. Wonder if that cover is available for the 6.2? Now worries on me stealing your badge idea, I don’t play that way! Love Star Wars but not into outright thievery ?...maybe put Sierra and something more personal where your ST is...maybe the Oregon “O” ?
  10. While it looks great, here in Florida that’ll get you pulled over and impounded...unless you can strip it off in front of the LE. They’re pretty forgiving here as most every FHP has limousine black on their sides and back but they’d get ya for that. Reminds me of the 58 Plymouth in Christine and it looked bada$$ too but probably wasn’t easy to drive at night...still the truck looks great!!
  11. 58 and in the same boat...?
  12. Okay, thank you! At first I thought it said packet of cannabis...had to read it twice! Thank you for the link too ?
  13. I can tell you honestly, that even with my bi-focal vision I could thread a needle in my truck doing 85 mph (as a passenger LOL). I normally stay at below 75 mph but certainly wanted to see if I have any of these vibrations described by others, I do not. I have driven in Drive, L7 (to keep AFM off) and with tow/haul on and off with no issues at all. Before I installed the Borla ATAK Cat-back, I couldn't hear the V8 to V4 switch during AFM but I can hear it now but I rarely ever drive in anything other than L7. I am also on my second set of tires, the stock ones for a few hundred miles and the 275/60R20 BFG K02 tires after my 2.5 inch RC level. All good to go since day one. I have considered having the transmission flushed and filled with the new fluid as a PREVENTATIVE measure only.
  14. No but if it makes you feel any better...I have read all the horror stories and have just over 3K on my 2018 Sierra 6.2 with 8 speed without any problems.
  15. That's great! I did the swap in my 2018 SLT and is still my favorite MOD. Nice that you got the BLUE setup!!
  16. Or just buy her an assortment of Stilettos kind of a win-win...
  17. Good idea, email them at [email protected] give them your VIN and they will send you a build sheet document free. Mine are the 315mhz: XL7 - FREQUENCY RATING 315 MHz
  18. His whole truck is subtle and very tastefully done. Being a Sierra owner, I took the fender flairs for granted but now realize the Silverado normally doesn’t have them. I like his truck a lot...I love my Summit white but if there had been a Sierra on the dealers lot in that color, I’m not so sure I’d have white lol
  19. I still don’t know! I guess it can’t be explained in simpler ways.
  20. So you got screwed twice...glad you're still here to be able to get a new one. It's usually the impaired driver who walks away and the innocent one gets hurt.
  21. Beautiful color
  22. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with your white truck, one of the nicer trucks (any color) I've seen Although, after seeing the slate gray, it is a very nice color...haven't seen it before.
  23. Of course! Sorry, MOST of the newer trucks have it in the front. It's not a water seal but for some reason GM started putting the gap towards the front. I plan on putting a sealant around the base of mine, hopefully it will stop water from getting to the seal inside that is SUPPOSED to keep the water out.
