  1. Hey Guys I could use some help. I have a truck that new to me that I'm trying to diagnose an occasional hard start on. It's a 2022 silverado with an L8T. That has gotten worse over the last 3 months of ownership. Truck starts fine except after its been sitting for about 2hrs. Then I have long crank times. Truck start fine in the morning though. I have no "CEL", but a p2635 fault. I'm dropping fuel pressure and will set a code if I run the ****** out of the truck, but only then and it will "clear" itself. Useing the troubleshooting procedure outlined by GM according to the code I've found online. Im using a Autel 808 to Depressurize the fuel system durring a cold idle. After the truck dies the sensor is still showing pressure 30psi-100psi after the engine stops. How would you verify the sensor/wiring vs the fuel control module? And there is it? Its not on the supply line thats visible, but from some videos it looks to be on top the tank by the bulkhead. I still think I might have a bad pump too. At idle the command is 80% (engine warm) and the pump is running a 7k RPMs. Thoughts or suggestions? Not a lot out there on these engines. I also have weak injectors on bank 1. I'm not sure how that could be attributing to my issue. I hate swapping parts just for the sake of swapping parts but I'm getting to that point almost. I can try and post some photos of the scan tool values if I can figure out how to resize them.
  2. Make sure your under GVWR, your tires are up to the task, and you have the right license. Your not going to have any problems unless you kill someone in a crash. Might need some airbags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I only buy fuel from top tier stations. One of my friends use to test fuels and while it all comes out of the same pipelines there is a huge difference in quality and additives. Since I quit buying fuel from anywhere I have noticed minor improvements in all around performance of both my gas and diesel vehicles. This isn’t necessary for people that don’t rack up a lot of miles or keep vehicles very long though. I rack up 50k a year on my work trucks and keep my other vehicles a while if they seem reliable. Before I started purchasing quality fuel I did have some excessive wear on the fuel system of my diesel. While not horrible more then I should have see considering how well I maintain my vehicles. 4. Damn some of y'all are smoking some good shit if you believe these mileage claims. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  5. Gasser 14.6mpg 12.2mpg 10.4mpg I’m happy with that since my truck idles a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The OP is on to something I think. We have a 2006 and 2007 chevys and never had a problem with rodents. Every winter since I bought my 2015 squirrels have been trying to nest in the engine compartment. GM must have installed some sort of Pied Piper software in their new trucks to force us to by new ones..... Or maybe it’s automotive espionage and Ford and Ram are trying to get rid of GM. We have the stories that GM is down to 3rd in sales.... We all better put out armadillo hats on we are on to something here... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Mine has 180k and never had a fluid or filter changed until 175k. A tiny bit of metal in the filter, but the pan was clean. It doesn’t tow very often. I’m curious how long the trans will last. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Lol cameras are a tool and just like any other tool we are all going to use them differently. How they chose to use them doesn’t make them an less qualified to pull a trailer knowing when they’re over their head does. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
