  1. Life got busy and I forgot that I hadn't updated this thread. I got all my new badges installed. I bought a second set of the "Silverado" letters for the tailgate because I need to re-do them. A little tip, trying to put the whole string of letters up all at once isn't easy with the foam template. They sit in there a little too loose and the D and O both got a bit crooked. I'm going to re-do it and just tape up the template, then place one letter at a time into the cutouts. I also did the bed rail inserts and added my steps and tonneau cover.
  2. Awesome, thanks! I'll definitely check out that seller. In fact, looking at my ebay cart, I have their bed rail cap letters in my cart. I love your tailgate inserts too, I think I'm leaning towards that style.
  3. Thanks for the positive feedback. I think I'm going to give them a try, just waiting until after Father's Day in case my wife surprises me. Do you have a link for the ones you've used? I found some on eBay that I'm planning on grabbing, unless a different set catches my eye. Also planning on the tailgate inserts from BDTrims. Just deciding between all black, or black with a red outline to match the badges I'll be getting. I'll probably go with the outline, I've liked the few pictures I've seen of them installed.
  4. Bumping an old thread for a related question. Does anybody know if this issue applies to trailer tpms sensors? I had a 2019 that came with a set of sensors that sat in my glove box for 4 years. I now have a 2023 and a trailer that I want to put the sensors in. Did the trailer sensors also change part numbers, and would I be able to program these ones on the new truck?
  5. Picked this up on Friday. I was nervous to order the Sterling Gray since I hadn't seen one in person yet. But I wanted the Satin Steel and Silver Ice before they were discontinued, so I took a shot on it. It's somewhere in between the two, and I'm really happy with the color!
  6. Thanks for the tip. It looks like I might just be out of luck, but I still plan to ask the parts dept next time I'm in. I can't find any redline badges on Chevy's site. I even found a redline Traverse and got the VIN to put into the website, and that still only shows black badges. They must exist, but maybe they can only order them internally. The other issue though is that I'm not sure Chevy makes the 6.2L badge, which is the one that started me down this road. I went to their build and price tool and built out a Redline RST with the 6.2 and the images appear just show a black badge on the hood. So aftermarket may be the only option for that one.
  7. That's interesting, I've seen at least one RST Redline on my dealer's website. I'll probably check with the parts dept next time I'm in and see what they say. Or just grab some off eBay to see if I at least like the look.
  8. I have a new Trail Boss coming in a couple weeks and I'm looking to do something a little different for badges. Looking for actual OEM part numbers if anyone has them, because some of the Amazon reviews have me worried about their quality. Too many of the reviews talk about peeling and fading over time. I want to black out my badges, but because it's a 6.2L Trail Boss I worry about the 6.2 badge disappearing with the hood scoop. So I thought about going with Redline badges instead. I'm not sure if there's a good LT package to buy since the Trail Boss doesn't have a redline edition, or if I should look for an RST package and get an LT badge separately (or even a Traverse/Tahoe package). Any suggestions on part numbers, or a source for good quality Redline badges, that will get me the 6.2L, Silverado, and LT badges? A good black/red Z71 as well. I'm not sure if GM makes an official one since I've only seen all black at the dealers.
  9. After waiting almost a year to place an order (combination of Trail Boss, 6.2L, Convenience package, etc all being hit by different constraints), my dealer finally put my order in back in February. They always told me roughly 8 weeks from order to delivery, and they're not far off. Just got word that it will be here the second week of May, which puts it closer to 10 weeks, but not bad.
  10. I'm in the same boat right now. I'm trying to order a `23 LT Trail Boss, and I'm at the top of the queue for my dealer because my '22 order never went through. They're checking allocations for me each week as they come in and they don't have any Trail Boss allocations at all right now. I'm not sure when that will change (neither are they).
  11. I'm wondering the same thing, so I'll report back if I find an answer. I was told that ordering would open up in July, with production beginning in August. I'm trying to reach my dealership this week, but not getting calls back from the right people, so I may head in tomorrow. I had an order for a 2022 but it got cancelled when they stopped building the Silver Ice color. So they're waiting to put in a 2023 order for the new Sterling Gray color and I'm trying to find out when they can officially place the order.
  12. I just got a happy surprise in my email, assuming there are no restrictions that will prevent me from using it. I had planned on ordering a 2022, but the order fell through when Chevy stopped building any more Silver Ice trucks. So I told the dealer to hold off and order a 2023 in the new gray color that's coming out. Well I got an email from Chevy saying that since my order couldn't be fulfilled, they're giving me a $3,000 coupon off of a 2023 order, which I was planning anyway. As long as I can take delivery by January. Hopefully there are no constraints that push me past that timeframe.
  13. 2023 is in their system. I don't know if they're accepting them yet, but I bet they'd let you build it out, and put the order in as soon as they can, if you're willing to wait. I know it's in their system, because my dealer was on 2023 by accident. I'm ordering a Silver Ice and he told me that color is discontinued, so he was building it out in the new Sterling Gray (coming out next year). Halfway through the build, he realized he was on 2023 and when he switched back to 2022 he was able to select the Silver Ice again. This wasn't the normal sales guy, but the guy who puts the orders in to GM.
  14. I've been a big fan of Truxedo in the past, specifically the Lo Pro. But I'm trying to save some money this time around, so I ordered the Gator ETX from Amazon based on some feedback I've seen on this forum (and the fact that it looks exactly like a Truxedo in pictures). Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong one, so I'm in the process of getting it replaced. It did lead to an interesting finding though. I called Gator support and they needed me to send them some info, and the email address they gave me was a Truxedo address. Based on that and the looks, build, etc, I'd say that Gator seems like it's just a re-branded Truxedo. The one I'm sending back looks good, and seems like the quality will be just fine when I get the right one installed.
  15. I'm not sure if the feature is on the Custom or not, but it's off by default so you may just need to turn it on. In the Infotainment system. I don't have the exact steps in front of me, look for a Remote Window Down feature or something like that. I know it's available in my RST, I'm not sure which trim level it starts at.
  16. I've been reading through the manual and I saw the section about the filling your tires (page 370 for those that want to look it up). I kinda skimmed over it because I just assumed I don't have the feature, but mine is an RST so maybe I do.
  17. I'm interested in the results. I came across the same part in my search, because I noticed the design difference and I want the right one. I haven't pulled the trigger yet though, I have a couple other purchases that need to come first. But if it works out, it will definitely be on my list.
  18. After months of drooling over everyone's photos here, I finally pulled the trigger last Friday. Here's my Northsky Blue RST Z71.
