  1. No. I got fed up and called GM head office. They bought the truck back and I purchased a 2019 Trail Boss. That one also had issues with the stabilitrak, and a couple other electronic things. Also, the front diff grinded from the start, transmission was always banging. # different dealerships wouldn't acknowledge there was anything wrong. Even had a tech drive with me and I pointed it out, he agreed. But when it came time to pick up the truck, they still said they couldn't find anythig wrong. SO after 80000kms, I sold it at a loss and got a Toyota Tundra. I called GM, and they kept wanting me to pay for a front end diagnostic immediately after getting it out of the shop, paying for a diagnotic. So I told them to shove it.
  2. Had the same issue. '19 TB. 6 speed. 2 different dealerships could not find anything wrong with it. No one would ackowldge the obvious clank, evven when I drove with them. Also after 25000miles, the fron t diff began grinding, and often would seem like 4x4 was engaged. same dealerships " can't find anything wrong", despite the obvious noises. Specifically paid for a front end inspection from a 3rd dealership who said the exact same thing.(By this time there was 55000 miles on it) Contacted GM head QC who told me to get an updated diagnostic at a gm authorized dealer, 2 miles after i left freom picking it up at the dealer who told me nothing was wrong. No arguing with a brick wall that i had just got it done and they wanted another. So I gave up and traded it in for a Tundra at a loss. (Hate the tundra BTW)
  3. I've had this issue since almost new. I've brought it in twice, and the dealership can never "recreate" the sounds. So the lead says, everytime it happens, to call them and log it so at least if there's a failure, they can track it and it'll help with warranty. Currently at 54000 kms
  4. I had the biggest eye roll handed to me when I told the wife that the other day about 15's
  5. Totally agree. I had to lower the "equalizer" all the way down on, then tweak up one, up 3 , up 5 - bass, mid, and treble, just to make it sound somewhat near to normal. This is my only real complaint about the truck haha. I want to replace the entire system, but once I my local sound dealer looks a little more into it. (He's on it)
  6. I absoultely love this truck! 2019 Trail Boss Z71! 400 miles on it so far. I been noticing a lot of rubber necking as I'm driving around the last 2 days haha. Mostly from recently purchased Chev/GM truck drivers haha(Maybe they're thinking they should've waited a few months?). And a lot of people have been stopping at it here at work to check it out. It handles great. It looks awesome. And another thing I love is the layout of the interior. It just fits!
  7. I just picked up The Trail Boss Z71 on friday evening. I love this truck. Any time i'm parked somewhere I just start fiddling around and find something cool. One little thing I noticed...The footstep(foot brace?) to the left of the brake pedal is more pronounced, like the mid 90's trucks. One thing I used to miss(I notice because I do a lot of bush/mountain driving). The A pillars are repostioned so there is less of a blind spot for pedestrians at crosswalks. I did not about about the rear view mirror and the other little things on this post - Big Thanks to you all!
  8. After washing my truck thoroughly 2 weeks ago, all these issues popped up on my 2017 silverado 1500 WT, 4X4 Crew cab. At first, it was intermittent and usually on a rough patch of highway. But the last week it was steady. I finally got to my service appointment 2 days ago. There were several communication errors between a bunch of sensors. My truck has 49000 miles, and was told none of it would be covered under warranty(complete and extended warranties were purchased). So i took it home and tried all these fixes,(I assume i still have a lot of wiring yet to check), but the issues are still there. Service stabiltrak, service trailer brake system, no cruise control, no TPMS, ABS light on, hit a bump and the power steering "grabs" for a split second. The only one of these fixes I didn't try yet was battery to ground cable replacement. Beginning tonight I will be tracing wires and ground points, so we shall see. I just wanted to share so maybe, someone watching these forums who may be taking note, realizes how far this problem goes. One of my coworkers had a couple sensor issues on his 2018 Chev 1500 LTZ he purchased in Nov/18 with only 3800 miles on it, but disappeared a couple days later and hasn't returned. It doesn't help that the 2 local GM dealerships in the area are not very helpful. ( whole slew of different stories on that topic lol)
