yes....idk if this is common but after seeing so many threads on people not happy with trim level and or accessories they don't have and either didn't check or assumed it would, have to think they will check next time around when they do another purchase...

get some aftermarket shocks......eibach, fox, kings, or whatever your comfort level is financially manufacture always generate towards masses.....you can fix the ride pretty easily though, bit of research and your budget will net good results..... stock trucks are usually oversprung with soft shocks.....in which you want opposite.....softer spring and more dampening 22in rims wont have the best ride....you have no cushion so if your suspension isn't right you will feel everything.....your tires are suspension as well...

if you want/need it buy Z71 pkg....I have 4x4 and will probably never or rarely use it, if I need it I have it.....I didn't get Z71 because I am sure the 'terrain mode' is more than sufficient....and I don't want the shitty twin tube ranchos (had them before)…...I am sure alot don't need it to do what they do but are used to it or its all they know or don't really understand dynamics and just want it cuz that's what everyone else has, who knows.....the internet is full of every breed....its everyones 50k so spend it however you like....if you want it they have it is all that matters, lol.

I have as well more than a few times which is why I want to trade it in for 2500.....but ill have to say for 1/2 ton its pretty respectable.....just be nice to haul loads in 1 trip and not 2 or 3 and had mine slammed already more than few times.....had to take streets to job, wouldn't make it on freeway

custom TB just has lift and tires.....you can get an LT or RST Z71 and buy the lift from ebay or chevy for 1k, put wheels on of your own choice...you now have a LT TB.....obviously it would have to be cost effective and have seen lots of great deals on LT TB lately as well..... when I bought mine this was for sure the better option..

I had same conversation on 2500s....nothing to be had yet and all the trucks went up in selling price for april, guess they are selling....

Its the consumers responsibility to verify the truck b4 purchase.....same goes with console issue on customs, yeah it sucks and probably should be there but still as a consumer you have the right to purchase any brand and or trim level you choose....mine didn't come with Sirius XM and first thought that came to me was damn!, I should have checked before I bought it.....I would have gladly paid the extra $1400 for conv 2 pkg for this and better infotainment system and few other goodies....I was researching RAM and then switched to GM but didn't look carefully enough but that was my fault...….I wouldn't just expect anything at all.... I almost got a custom TB but after reviewing what it offered it was a bad choice for me so I backed out, I needed a standard bed which was hard enough to locate as it is....but still 7 months later wish I did few things differently I don't blame GM at all, I blame myself....they all have a window sticker that lists everything that comes with truck nd with internet there is no way you cant find anything you need to know about a vehicle....I just let it slip by and payment would barely change having the conv 2 pkg so well worth it imo

beautiful truck man.....I love the red when these first came out I saw a pic of of white 4x4 LTZ with a level or small lift and 35s on stock rims and couple of different angle shots and I just about ****** myself.....most beautiful truck I ever seen...since then ive been hooked....

mine is 1902 I believe, it may be 1910 I know for sure its over 1900#...….std bed, dbl cab, 4x4 RST and yeah I thought that was respectable....it definetly hauls more than my Toyota tundra.....but I still need more look at your sticker.....for me trucks are all about payload ive never towed a trailer in 30 yrs

exactly the way I felt....I don't care where they pull it from...and they can pull it from somewhere if needed also depends how long truck has been sitting....you cannot depend on the dealer or salesman to have your best interest at heart (I am sure some have long relations or connections that prove exceptions but not the norm)….they are trying to get the most and your job is to pay least....may best man win, lol heard along time ago from someone in industry is you should shoot for 20% minimum.....unless its a raptor or specialty and ive stuck to that rule.....Toyota forget it but have managed to attain it so it just takes a bit of skill, research, patience....sometimes it just falls into your lap certain cars, trucks or models are tougher than others but still....at some point they will let them go and wont let you know it unless you stick it out.....why would they let a vehicle go for few thou less if they don't have too....what bugs me is super politically correct and polite emails they send while trying to bend you over and plug you, lol I really hate to say it and am sure there are good ones but most are so friggen shady...at least most of ones I have come across in last 30yrs

yes just back from a dealer last night....they play so many games they jacked up price of the MSRP (never seen that done b4) than gave rebates and included 2k of accessories ( which is common but I don't want of course).....now if they knock the MSRP back down to what it really is and take accessories off it would be 42k OTD for a 49.9k MSRP on an LT 2500 4x4.....I know 1500 have huge discounts but haven't seen many on 2500..... I may just wait and scrap the whole deal and refi my 1500 but yeah its always a dog and pony show

I posted in another thread I thought eibach made the springs.....they aren't that far away from each other and eibach custom makes springs as well I believe that thing flashing with the model and price is very annoying, lol.....idk how many appreciate that when your trying to just look I dig the blue as well, would have no issue running those bad boys.... and correct on spring rate....want to run softest rate possible, spring just holds the truck up so shock can do its job, if you have winch, bumper, etc than obviously need heavier its funny because theory of suspension is probably same or similar in all motorsports....for motocross its exactly same....the spring is for riders weight.....shock dampening does all work....

so what package on LT do you need to get SD card?.....conv 2 pkg?
