I put them on my wife’s Jeep and they’re fantastic, very high quality. Haven’t seen them on a T1

I just had my front Ranchos replaced with Billstein 5100s on my 2020 AT4 (OE 2" lift stock). Now I'm feeling a "bump" after sharp turns when I straighten the wheels. It wasn't there before. I'm taking it back to the shop for them to take a look but any ideas what this could be? I have a slight rub (running 285/65/20 KO2s) that wasn't there before but this is more of a thump. The Billsteins are supposed to be set at 1.1 to give me slightly more clearance/level than stock.

Has anyone used the Rockford Fosgate DSR1 DSP on one of our trucks? I'm tired of the glitchy NAVTV product and when I called them last week they told me they're trying to get one of our trucks in their shop to test but someone keeps flaking on them. Every time I communicate with them its a different excuse so I'm ready to move on. LLJ Customs sells a harness with the DSR1 wired in but from what I've ready on Crutchfield's website you can't use the DSR1 on our trucks. I'm thinking this may be because they don't sell a T harness specific for the T1s but I'm not certain. I have an email to LLJ asking but just wondering if anyone has used the DSR1 and their thoughts on it.

I still have problems with my NAVTV. They swapped a new unit with me and still had the same problems every one else mentions. Then I swapped to analog setup (had toslink) and installed the newest software update last week but I’m still getting completely dropped sound periodically where I have to reset the system (have a toggle switch installed just for this reason). I don’t think it’s fair to sell a $600 unit like this that requires advanced electronics training to get it to work. I’m going to contact the company tomorrow but I’m not optimistic they’ll solve the problem since they often don’t respond to emails. If you guys have any suggestions I’m all ears.

I actually have 285/65/20 BFGs on my truck but I instead measured the tire size (they recommended that vs. entering the measurements). We'll see how it goes

So did you just do trial and error on tire size until it worked?

I've noticed the same on my 2020 AT4 recently, I've got about 18k miles on it.

I had the same exact problem. At first I thought it was my pedal commander interfering but when I took off the RC correction module the problem resolved. I've not put it back on.

Did you try switching the NavTv unit connection from toslink to rca and still have the problem? I contacted them and they told me switching to RCA would resolve the problem but before I go through the trouble I want to know if that will fix it.

Do you have to replace the UCA on the AT4 with the 5100 at the highest setting? I have some 5100s ordered but didn’t know I’d have to replace the UCA

Use a pointed tool to pry up the lever, just insert and press down on the tab.

They're fragile, but if you pull firmly with needle nosed pliers wrapped in electrical tape they'll come loose as long as the white locking tab is lifted. I frayed one wire but wrapped it up and it works great. I think I used a pointed tool to seat the pin back in once I swapped them, they're long and skinny

Same here, I’ve had the same problem you describe even with the “new” unit. My contact at NAVTV no longer responds to my emails. I have a reset switch under my dash that reboots it every time there’s a problem and that fixes it but this shouldn’t happen. Very frustrating.

My installer put in a toggle switch to kill the power to it, so basic reset button. That corrects the problem short term. Let me know if yours works. I also had to pay return shipping, which is ridiculous of course

Well I spoke too soon. While the popping noise is gone, it’s back to dropping the volume. This is the replacement unit with supposedly upgraded chip and new files. I’m thinking the Zen from NAVTV isn’t ready for our trucks...at least not mine. I’m going to just live with hitting the reset button when it drops the volume. At least the loud popping noise has resolved.

I’ve just finished the exchange on my unit. I had the same problem, dropped volume and static. I installed the new unit and it caused loud popping noises periodically, especially with rapid changes in the volume up or down. I thought I had a bad connection or frayed wire but checked everything and found nothing wrong. Turns out the new unit they sent needed new files. Tony from NAVTV helped me install the new files last night and everything now works perfectly. So hang in there but be warned if the new unit doesn’t have the newest files you’ll need to update it. The popping noise sounds like a rock hitting the windshield...a little unnerving.

I bought it in February. I’m going to take the seat off again today and take another look at all the connections but I didn’t see any problems when I looked the other day.

Yes they’re working with me. This is the replacement unit because the first constantly dropped the sound and only a reset would correct it. That’s a known problem with the early units but this new one should be working properly.
