  1. I just did the same thing, my rear window started leaking for the third time but this time it was out of warranty so I had had enough. After having purchased 6 different new gm pick ups since 2000 I have decided to try my luck with a Ram. The rear window is probably made by the same vendor though lol. We'll see what happens but the Sierra is officially someone else's problem.
  2. When the dealer took it in they found it had a scavenger power drain on the battery but the problem is that it is an intermittent problem. In the off position It was drawing 3.5 amps when they took it in but now that condition has gone away so I am left with an unknown. Not a comforting feeling wondering if your truck is going to start tomorrow. Not sure what to think at this point, they said I can pick it up because there is noting they can do at this point and asked for my help in monitoring any unusual activity in the vehicle. The adviser did add that a discharged or low battery will make the computer and its systems do allsorts of strange things so in my case we need for the problem to show itself long enough for them to locate it.
  3. I had the same sequence of events just happen to me on my 2020 Sierra 1500 5.3 as papadop has had. I wound up here on an internet search and I am glad I did because it helped me remember how this all went down. This morning I went to start the truck and it was dead in my garage. I remember now I did something different yesterday, I had used the remote start for the first time in a long time because the truck was going to be really hot inside and wanted to precool. Once I got in and turned it on I immediately noticed that the head unit was black, I tried to turn it on with the power button but noting happened. I had to shut the vehicle and restart it to get the head unit to work. I got home and parked it as usual then I went to go for a drive this morning and it had a dead battery. This issue has happened to me one other time as I recall and I assumed I left something on. I am charging it now and will call the dealer tomorrow because it is Sunday now and see what they have to say, I'll be back to let you know. I am going on vacation next week and I will not be using the keyless start no matter what. The new saying is If the screen is black your gonna make tracks lol
  4. My 2020 had the sealant applied a year ago and it has now failed, made a real mess of the headliner. The dealer said the plastic window frame is cracked this time so we're waiting on a window and headliner. I am driving around with rags on the top of the back seat when it rains, what a joke, my CJ is more watertight.
  5. 2020 GMC sierra. 22000 miles, has rear sliding window and it leaks. My dealer has tried to fix it once and failed, matter of fact, I think it got worse once they touched it. Not sure what I am going to do.
  6. I have the paperwork now. Just wanted to add the code. My code was p0455 evap leak. We'll see what happens Monday
  7. I got here searching this issue. Having the same on my issues with my 2020 Sierra 1500. Built in Mexico. Bought early March. Problem just started last week at 5500 miles. Dealer checked for evap leaks then reset it the first time no trouble found. Second time it came on they changed the purge solenoid and said that a spider had made a home in the vicinity of the purge solenoid?? They did not mention misfiring either time but I am feeling what I think are misfire vibrations coming through the steering wheel and the fuel mileage has dropped as well. Set an oppointment for me Monday. Not good. This is my work service truck and I can't have this carry on much longer. Hope they figure it out soon or it is gone.
