  1. Oh yeah its easy to get parts from any other GM truck but this Harley is done independently. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  2. I should mention the 5.3s I have experience with are 2017 or older to whatever they had in 2002. I certainly don't live in Cali, but in Canada where it would convert to $4.71 per gallon of 91 or $3.81 per gallon of 87. So if I'm paying this much I would be a much easier pill to swallow in something over the top. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  3. The TRX is worth it, The AT4 isn't. Currently I'm paying a premium for a truck that isn't a premium. The 5.3 is not a good V8, we have many of each at work and the 5.3 gets poor fuel economy other than that its no different from an F150 5.0Lor Ram 1500 5.7L, the 6.2 doesn't seem any different. If i was on a blind drive I wouldn't know if it was a 5.3 or 6.2 The TRX yeah it requires 91 and will not get amazing economy but its got the suspension, power, looks and pedigree to be worth it. My AT4 is no different really than a " grandpa" truck, we all like to think the AT4 is so much more and I do as well to keep me from complaining every time it costs me over $100 to fuel the pig up. The AT4 meets most of my needs which is why I bought it. I'm a non brand loyal person and when I decided to step down from a 3/4 to a 1/2 ton i skipped the F150 as i knew a new truck was coming and I really wanted a raptor but didn't think I could live with the short box, the Ram had a very nice interior but I really like the look of the HD more and mega cab so I knew I'd feel like I cheaped out. When I seen the AT4 I liked it for the 10 speed, its probably off-road capable enough but at least i got a standard box size and also I didn't have to get the 5.3 Had I known how garage the adaptive cruise is and no rain sensing wipers (sales person lied) and it needed 91 i probably would of got the raptor if I could of just got a few more grand off, if not I'd put a 4" bds on the ram and enjoyed plenty of grunt and 87 fuel costs with a 40% larger fuel tank. 4. I also noticed the rear bumper is made for a single round tip.
  5. Not sure if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if we could order Harley parts? I want the lower bumper pc by the tow hooks so i can install a light bar, i also really like the hood.
  6. get the 9L7 upfitter switch kit. i'll have mine all installed today hopefully.
  7. That depends on where you live, in canada it costs me $30 per tank. That's considerable increase in operating costs at an average driver (distance wise) im looking at $1000 per year just on fuel price difference not to mention the 6.2 being more thirsty. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  8. Biggest would be that its pointless, costs me a lot if extra money to run and I get nothing out of it. I had 5.3 before and it wasn't even close to my ford on gas so I didn't want another but I didn't realize at the time the 6.2 needed premium fuel. I figured it was same as the 6.4 hemi, in the jeep or challenger it requires 91 but in the trucks it uses 87. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  9. i've thought about it and i probably wouldn't buy mine again, or at least i wouldn't get the 6.2 again. I'd really like to get the new Ram TRX or the new Raptor once its released. the Raptor i'm thinking may edge out the TRX in performance but the TRX will have a way better interior. When i bought my AT4 i thought i could deal with the bland interior but I miss the Ram interior now. at least with the GM you get the cargo camera on the 1500 where as the Ram you only got it on the HD trucks, although i read the 21 Ram now has has the camera rear view and cargo cam on the 1500's
  10. Ok, ill probably cut it out as ill probably never have a beacon but that is convenient if you have a roll bar with lights Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  11. Mine only has 4 wires, but there's 5 switches I like how it gives you the snow prep 200A fuse, ill probably use that if I add a winch Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  12. Got it. Now I'm wondering if I could get the bezel wrapped. The lower switches makes some sharp angles so ill have to see if the wrap guy can cut around there Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  13. Installing the knee bolster for upfitter switches and i can't seem to get the radio bezel out. There's one screw holding me back on the bolster by the start button. Also if I get the bezel out I may wrap it Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk

  15. According to the description mounts are included, but its vague. They are sold as a pillar lights but the bracket could be just the standard light bracket. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  16. https://www.gmupfitter.com/files/media/photo/1314/UI Bulletin 153_wip.pdf Are there any updated instructions? these still say preliminary. I've been busy and have not had time to install mine, but this weekend is rain in the forecast so may as well have a truck day.
  17. Apparently the GM ones come with a mount, but i have not ordered yet. My buddy has a set on his raptor and the bracket is small and clean but they don't make a kit for the GMs GM is changing trucks so often there seems to be less aftermarket support vs Ford and dodge Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  18. What did you use for mounts? LED pods are wasy to get but mounts are more difficult. I only know of these and some sdhq or something like that. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  19. Has anyone used the GM a pillar or ditch lights? With very little areas to add extra lighting i was thinking of maybe going this route Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  20. Dupli color perfect match.. get it at many hardware/ automotive stores Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  21. Just did my fog light bezels. Sanded with 1000 grit, plastic adhesion primer, 5 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  22. I took mine off today and broke most of the tabs Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  23. Its in stock in canada.. only way I got mine Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  24. Got mine, but im thinking my battery harness is missing the cover for the connector Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  25. The harness may be different. If the multipro has its own cable for the inner gate you may still be able to use the lock and camera, otherwise it would be cutting the connectors off and making your own for camera and lock Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
