  1. Dodge interior is a million times better, I shy'd away because I like the HD better, love the grill and front end on them. The sport looks better than the rest in the 1500. You can also get 3.92 gears and a larger fuel tank! 26L more than the GM. F150 has a 36L more than GM. If the summer fuel economy dont improve I'll be trying out a new Ram, maybe factory order a 2021. I hear the Rebel TRX will be released this summer. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  2. I may try 94 and see if it makes a difference, at least calculate the improvement if any. I'm not going to give up on this truck after all I did buy it for the fact that it did suit my needs the best of all the trucks I looked at. It was way cheaper than a Raptor and about the same as a rebel but at least this truck has the longer box versus the rebel and Raptor. With my wife on maternity leave I wanted a truck that suits my needs and require the least amount of modifying and that turned out to be the at4 Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  3. They all say that and its mostly bull. My F150 EcoBoost recommended 91 but 87 was ok blah blah... I tried it on 87 and noticed no difference so kept using 87. I wasted money for months putting 91 in the stupid thing. 93 isnt even available in canada and only a few stations have 94, about 4 fuel stations of 20 in my area have 94 available, many areas only have 91. Now my Jeep SRT8 minimum requirement is 91, so I use exactly that at least 91 or 94 if I'm near a station with it. Right now my Jeep 6.4 hemi is getting better fuel economy than my truck which is odd.. so Is my power wagon that's a 3/4 ton 6.4. I'm starting to miss my diesel now but at least this truck is warm in the winter and my oil changes are free. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  4. I use my truck as a daily and road trips. This truck is gonna cost me way more than my F150 or Ram, so much more I could trade it on for a loss and come out on top in the end. I'm going to wait till end of summer and see if it improves. 91 is very expensive here, cost me an extra $30 per tank to fill on 91 vs 87 Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  5. I drive the same highway often, anytime I leave town I do as I live in an isolated town with only 1 highway in and out, not big city here. Trucks certainly burn more fuel at higher speeds, most limits are 60 to 70 Elevation is only about 1000 feet avg Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks, maybe it needs to get broke in more. Do you have a cover? I found my last gas truck made a small improvement on long trips with a tonneau. I was expecting this truck to have a large fuel tank, I was pretty disappointed when I filled up. The HD trucks have a 36 or 37 gallon I think.. it's over 130L anyway. Drive a solid 12 hours straight with that. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  7. I was using highway alone, I have the computer set to the lowest range so it calculated highway only. I was also watching the instant economy to see where it was hovering. In town isn't great but no heavy vehicle with a gas will be. My jeep SRT is horrible in town but it's a lotta fun tho with the 6.4 hemi. If I can get 18 mpg on the highway I'd be happy I wasn't expecting it to be as good as my deleted diesel which was 10 to 20 mpg and with 33" stock tires I hit 22mpg. Same truck on 35s was 15-16 towing a SxS and dirt bike or 14 towing my 20' enclosed aluminum v nose. If this truck keeps getting 14 to 15 mpg I'd be better off losing a few grand to trade in for something different, I dont want another diesel as it takes forever to warm up in our cold winters. (Way up Northern Canada and its -30 to 40) I did get 10k off and 0٪ interest. Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
  8. 110 kph, just shy of 70 mph On the same highway I got 14 L/100 with lifted Ford. Before lift I got 10, which is around 22mpg. You also need to realize ford has more options in drive train. I had the, max tow pkg and 3.55s on my EcoBoost, many have 3.42 or 3.31. In lower trim you can get 3.73 and they would be great with 35s on the EcoBoost. Truck is just shy of 1000km so about 650 miles. I got it with nearly 0 Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
  9. This is my first 10 speed on a GM, I do have experience with the 10 speed on an F150 and it's a very good trans. Buddies are running 600hp Raptors with the 10 speed and 4x4 launches and not one issue. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  10. Can someone tell me if it gets better? I knew GM isn't great on fuel in gas engines, duramax is probably best in HD. I've heard the 6.2 with 10 speed was decent so I test drove and liked it. I didn't want a 3.23 rear end but the 10 speed has a lower first so I figured GM engineers knew what they were doing. Turns out this thing is a pig, worse half ton I've ever used. I have a 17 power wagon.. big ole 3/4 ton gas 6.4L and 6 speed junk transmission and they are very similar in fuel economy. This AT4 is so bad I get better economy with my F150 EcoBoost with 6" left and 35" 10 ply mud tires. If it does get better I'll keep it if not I'll go back to the dealer and beg for my old truck back. Dead flat highway avg is 16-17L/100 or 13 -14 mpg I could get that in my ram towing a trailer. Please tell me life gets better, I really do love my AT4 Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  11. For that reason I'll keep mine the way it is.. the standard box truck is very close to level anyway. If I did need a little extra height BDS makes a 2.5 coil over that has knuckles and full geo correction. Sent from my SM-N975W using Tapatalk
  12. Glad i got the 18's, i'm not really a fan on the 20's but i'll be adding 275/70R18 on mine (33x11)
