  1. You could try wiring them to the headlights and be our test pilot! Haha Do you usually run around with the parking lights (orange lights, just to be sure) on and not want the fogs on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. If you’re lucky enough to have a radio shack near you all you need is a diode. Costs $1.50 for 2. If not, then this is what you need https://boostautoparts.com/products/1999-2020-gm-auto-fogs-mod?variant=13954734751799 This activates then with the parking lights. They specifically state to not use the headlight wire for this mod though I don’t know why. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. I think those are 2 different mods. If you want the fogs in automatically (and stay on with the high beams) do the auto fog method. If you still want the dogs to act normal EXCEPT that they’ll remain on with the high beams, so the high beam one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Is this the thread where someone wrapped all the interior chrome? That glare is OBNOXIOUS! I want to do the same. Could the person who did that give any tips? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. What are those lights above the license plate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. “Avoid rapid acceleration” does not mean “don’t do this”. The caution sections says make sure it’s disengaged before driving, which it does when you tap the accelerator. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Because it’s normal on a 6.2. Watch any exhaust video on YouTube you want. You’ll hear it. Nature of the beast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Get under your truck at startup and you might find it coming from the driver side middle area. I’m guessing that’s the fuel whatever making the noise? That’s where mine comes from anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Now this is a neat trick and one I hadn’t experimented with. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. If mine ever leaks I’m asking them to do the same thing. Solid rear window swap. Small price to pay to avoid problems down the road... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. I think the issue was hooking it up while the truck was running. I power cycled it and got all kinds of “sensor disabled” warnings and a check engine light. Of course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Hooked up and pulled a trailer for the first time. Getting it registered so I can pull my side by side around. On that note: anyone else’s blind spot warning go off randomly while you’re towing AND THE TRUCK KNOWS THERES A TRAILER ATTACHED? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. A diode to prevent the fog lights from feeding the parking lights (or high beams depending on which video you watched). No wire needed. If you’ve got a local RadioShack that’s still in business this mod will cost you about $5 unless you already have those quick connect things. The diodes are $1.50 for 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. Got it. Just picked up a diode at RadioShack (if you can believe that). I’ll be trying it today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Yeah I still am. How does it achieve that if you’re connecting the high beam trigger wire to the fog light trigger wire? How does that automatically enable fog lights in low beam without pushing the button? I saw their video and and read the question as to whether “intellibeam” still works but I can’t process it knowing how this jumper works. If you could verify that when your fog lights are on the “A” high beam is also on at night, I’d appreciate it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Oh this mod is for fog lights on while high beams are on. I had it confused for fog lights on without having to push the button every time you drive it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. What? I thought it wouldn’t because they don’t work when the fog lights are on. Do you get a fog light indicator on the dash when they’re on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Yes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. I like the idea but I don’t like losing the auto high beams. I’m gonna try to figure a way to do it and keep the autoHB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. I think he meant they had to tear it apart again because they used the wrong gasket AFTER the lifter repair. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. I tried it with one of my trailers a while back but I didn’t work. I wasn’t driving though, just backed up to it and plugged it in. Is it speed sensitive? Will the camera activate while stopped or do you need to be moving? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. I agree. There is no reason why they shouldn’t be able to do that. We need a a program like Forscan but for for GM trucks... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. Idk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. You mean USA or Canadian motor? They aren’t made in Mexico. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
