  1. Yeah no problem. Just saw your “6.2 engine whine” post from 2016, ironically. Seems we have/had similar concerns, albeit 4 years apart. Although I know it’s coming from the compressor which is why I asked if others hear it too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. This is the best I could get with my phone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. It took 16 posts to get a simple yes or no answer. THANK YOU! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. I’m not asking for a diagnosis. I asked a simple “can you hear yours too” question. I mean, seriously, how much more detail do you need than that? I listed the engine, noise, and conditions that cause it. Like I said, that’s a modern day forum for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Positive. Cycling the AC on and off causes the noise to happen and not happen. It is most definitely the compressor. Sounds like it’s over or undercharged. Still cools adequately. I asked them to verify the Freon fill but they just said “sounds like all the rest of them”. So hear I am, asking a simple yes or no question and getting everything but that. Typical modern day forum, amirite?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. They originally said it was that pulley and swapped it but the noise remained. I’m hoping to silence it as it’s very obvious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. All I see are chrome, black, and paint to match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. It’s supposed to honk or something if the trailer is disconnected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Because the local dealer isn’t allowing that due to the coronavirus. I’ll just wait until they go back to regular operations. Thanks for the help everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. That’s why I’ve mentioned several times that it is very noticeable. I don’t have to listen closely and can hear it over the radio when it’s on a low volume. Yeah I know the compressor clicks as it engages but that’s not what I’m talking about. It’s a “purr” for the entire duration wjile the compressor is engaged. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Edit: never mind. Trying to turn a new leaf. I’m not driving with my ear by the grill, obviously. I hear it in the cab WHILE DRIVING and the pitch varies through the rpm range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Well I don’t hear it on my 5.3. And I didn’t hear it on the 2015 f150 I just got finished with at work that had 170k miles on it. I’m not talking about the clicking when it engages. I’m talking about a very audible noise (like an undercharged compressor or power steering pump that needs fluid) that varies with engine rpm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Turn the fan speed down, set it to high, cycle it on and off and on to see if you hear it “purring”. That’s the best way to describe it. I can even hear it outside with my ear near the grill. Local service guy, as you can already imagine, said they all sound like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. I keep telling people my work truck (5.3/8) feels snappier off the line than my 6.2/10. They don’t believe me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Same. Forscan was amazing on my 2015 f250. It had even more functions on my buddy’s 2019. Like enabling a feature that doesn’t allow the shifter to be moved if the key isn’t in the vehicle. Why does GM allow that to happen??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. As someone just reading this thread for entertainment I have to say that this comment doesn’t help your argument. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Scratched it! I was beachin’ it and the canopy caught wind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. What year? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. They do. There are pics and it is CLOSE on stock wheels For an AT4, readylift says Max tire 305/55-20, 20x9 0 offset wheel. Cognito UCA allow up to 34”x12” tire and 9” wide wheel with 5.75” back space. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. What about the mileage on your odometer? Does that read correctly? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. Have and not need versus need and not have. /close thread Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. The cutoff is actually pretty good and I don’t think it’ll cause any glare at all. The lumen output is seriously lacking for them to be functional, in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. Why? They hardly put out any light and are more decorative than functional. Turn those babies on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. My AT4 squeaks when I squeeze it, work truck (2020 Silverado) does not. And it has significantly more miles. I’ll pull it apart and put some grease on it one of these days. Or maybe I’ll stop squeezing it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  25. The upfitter switches are kinda ugly. Lots of different options like a Bluetooth relay, trigger 4 plus, or blazer wiring management system for wireless installs. Or you could go with a feniex mini 4200 which will give you switches for future lights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
