    Thanks for the follow-up posts. I'm about to buy a second hand Smart Cap and have 78" Yakima HD bars in the garage. Did you need to buy anything besides the bars to mount them to the cap?

    Has anyone had any luck swapping a Leer or equivalent shell between the current gen GMC/Chevy HDs? Hopefully specific to the standard 6'9" bed. I had an Overland Vehicle Systems shell on my 1500 AT4 and I know those fit the Sierra and Silverado, with or without the Multi-Pro tailgate. That said, I think the Leer shells are made to fit all the way over the bed caps as opposed to on them with some room to spare like OVS. Some 1500 owners reported some change in coverage over the rear tail lights..but that's 1500 specific.

    -12 will require way more front fender work to not rub. I have owned four T1 trucks and had to do a LOT of trimming and metal bending when I ran 18x9 et-15 BC Forged wheels as opposed to my previous Rotiforms in 17x8.5 et0 and current BC in 18x9 et0. Current 2023 AT4 all I did was pull the fender liner brackets out, which I did preemptively because I can do it with my eyes closed after all these T1s.

    Their site has some random sets probably, sure, but there are a lot more dudes with German cars ordering from them than this market. 99% of this thread is heavy cast crap from WheelPros. I’ve ordered BCs 3x from my guy for my RS3 and T1 GM and they’ve never ever taken more than 5 weeks to show up.

    I have 10k on my 2020 RST that was purchased new six months ago. 8k was on a Ready-Lift front under-strut spacer, last 1k on the Eibach pro kit. I have not noticed any degradation in ride quality with the Eibachs at all. It certainly handles way better and floats way less, which is why I went with it.

    Haha. you pointed me toward the Go Rhino products; I found their DSS "sliders" which is what I am running. They look a little less useful than yours but equally not offensive compared to what most of this forum seems to do. Where are you in CA? I am moving to Redding in three weeks.

    Finally got it done. Way happier. Front struts on the second from the bottom; 2" rear block with shock extensions. 17x8.5 wheels 285/75 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT

    $100 at Line-X and they sprayed it with their rubberized coating in 15 minutes.

    Those are some of the least offensive steps I have seen. I have also been wanting sliders but haven't found a single shop doing them since I got my truck in March....which is also white, completely debadged, and on bronze 17s. If you ever stumble on some rock sliders feel free to try and remember to post for me back here, hahah

    Haha we have identical style. What bars are those? N-Fab RKR? I've been going back and forth on committing to those for six months...any more pics?

    Thanks to those who contributed to this thread. After months of waiting, I have given up on Fox and ordered this kit to replace my Ready Lift bottom spacer 2" level. Pretty excited thanks to the feedback here...hope to see more.

    Ended up going with Yakima and their 78" HD bars. I park in a parking garage and couldn't have the tent substantially higher than the cab of the truck. This works out and allowed me to place two bike trays on the side of it, all loaded. The truck still gets 17mpg on the freeway with just the tent, and 15.x with the tent and bikes loaded.

    bump in case anyone knows of a good alternative to some of the newer yakima stuff at about $700
