    Thanks for the responses. I found a warm garage to keep the truck in overnight and am going there now to see if |I can locate a break in the harness between the bumper and the block heater. I did check for continuity and resistance at the bumper yesterday but found none. I'll post what I find.

    It was -38C last night and my truck took four tries before it would start this morning. I checked the power at the end of the plug and there is 120volts. When I plug it into the truck, there's no amp draw. I suspect the chord between the truck and the block heater is broken. Is this a common problem? Am I able to replace this with a standard HD extension chord without any problems?

    I did not pursue this for the 120 volt plug, but am curious to find out how it goes for you. Please post your results.

    I'm taking a road trip to pick up two complete dirt bikes and one parts bike. I'd like to know if anyone has been able to put two or three bikes in the back of one of these trucks. How are you hauling your bikes?

    I can't open the file you've attached. Can you upload it as a pdf? Also I'm thinking that this mod may require a trip to the dealer to activate this circuit.

    Well guys thanks for the input on this one. I'm going to look into the push bar . I do like the bed bar but mounting lights on top might make the truck too high to get into my garage. I'm taking a road trip on Boxing Day and decided to mount my 20" light bar on the plastic facia/filler panel at the center of the bumper. Surprisingly it doesn't bounce the light too much. Its a little challenging finding an easy access to mount the switch. I ended up using the blank off plate for the 120volt receptacle as my truck doesn't have that feature. Here's a few pics of the switch installed.

    I removed some of my dash trim and popped out the square blank off plug to install a switch. I found two 2 wire plugs attached to the back of the blank off plate. Can anyone tell me if these are for the 120 volt receptacle that would have been there if my truck had it?

    What is out there for vehicle specific mount for aftermarket lighting for these trucks? I don't want to drill into the bumper if I don't have to. I've been looking for something that wil mount to the tow hook mounts or another existing mounting point.

    I'm also interested to know more about this. I'm in the same position as Robby James as the passenger seat in my 2020 SLE is not comfortable at all, Thinking about a seat swap from a same year but higher model(SLT/AT4/Etc) Will the seats just plug in?

    Is there a best time of year to buy a 1500 series GM pick up? Ford has the Employee Pricing in the summer. What does GM offer?

    Has anyone done a retro wrap or paint job on their 2020 Sierra 1500? I'm curious to see how it looks. Any pictures of the new body style with a retro theme?
