  1. Swapped out the door handles on my 2022 LTZ refresh with ones from a '23 Yukon Denali. Now I just need to get the wrapped to match. I had to swap the front buttons for the. To work. The refresh truck buttons were 4 wire and the Yukon ones were 2. Yes, the back buttons do not work. I may try to find buttons for a refresh truck, swap them out, and wire them into the front doors.
  2. I'm swapping some Yukon door handles on my 2022 refresh. I need to swap the passive entry buttons so they work. Does anyone know how to get the outer cover off so I can swap the button and wiring?
  3. Are there anything else holding the outer cover on the handle? I need to replace a button on mine and don't want to buy a whole handle.
  4. I had a 2023 Silverado with the 5.3 and 10L80 10-speed for a rental earlier this year. The transmission temperature stayed between 130-140 at all times. It is the same 10L80 that is in the 3.0 Duramax trucks. I will keep my PPE cooler and PPE bypass valve in. 190+ temperatures are not good for a transmission.
  5. I just did this to my 2022 refresh LTZ. I used the 2023 GMC Denali 22's and put my center caps in them. These wheels seem to be impossible to find as takeoffs. I got them for $1,300 and my 20" wheels and tires (with 14k miles on them) with 55 miles on them including the TPMS sensors. I'm debating on getting the bowtie chrome ones or painting my bowtie white to match the truck. If you stick with the factory 275/50/22 tires then your speedometer will be off by less than 1 mph (you'll be going slower than shown). The 275/60/20 tires that come on the 20" wheels are 33" in diameter and 10.8" wide. The 275/50/22 tires are 32.8" in diameter and 10.8" wide. If you want an exact 33" tire, you could go with a 33x12.50x22 on the stock wheels. Most tires in that size are an aggressive off road tire and not a highway tire. Here is where the chart above came from. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ It depends. I had the factory 275/60/20 tires and wheels on my truck. I actually like the ride and handling better with the 275/50/22 tires. The smaller sidewall doesn't flex as much as the taller one on the 20" tires. It is all in what you like honestly.
  6. I thought it rode about the same or a little better. The ride didn't seem to be as squishy.
  7. Swapped out my LTZ painted aluminum 20" wheels for 2023 Denali 22" wheels.
  8. What is all involved with the installation? That looks really nice and fit. I'm interested in getting one as well to protect my steering wheel.
  9. Really? That's interesting. My 2022 refresh LTZ doesn't do this.
  10. It is not an official DexosD oil, that is just a recommendation just like Amsoil has on their bottles. I wouldn't run it unless it was DexosD approved.
  11. The 3.0 Duramax Max Tow Package has 3.73 gears.
  12. FYI, no aftermarket company makes front gears for these trucks. You will have to find a wrecked truck with the Max Tow or Diesel Off Road package to get the 3.73 gears.
  13. I installed the VSE Fuel System Saver this morning. The hardest part was getting the wiring harness disconnected from the OEM fuel filter housing.
  14. I have these on my truck as emergency response lights for the fire department. I believe they offer solid on lights as well. www.firewireleds.com
  15. S&B intake box with 2 filters (dry and oiled) for the 3.0 Duramax. Includes everything BUT the tube to the turbo. Both filters have around 11k miles on them. The entire setup has roughly 22k miles on it. $175 plus shipping
  16. I believe that only the rear gears are available aftermarket as no one makes anything for the front. You will have to find a wrecked truck to swap the axles from it. Keep in mind that you will have to install the Pulsar to adjust the speedo for the gears.
  17. See the pictures below. This is where I got battery constant and switched power for my Thinkware. F32 was the ONLY switched fuse inside the truck I could located, in either fuse boxes. This is in my 2022 refresh. To the OP, why not just under the box? This is in my 2022 refresh LTZ with lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. It also still keeps the camera centered for maximum viewing angles. With my mirror pushed up as high as it will go, I barely see the bottom of the camera.
  18. I like it. The truck does seem to have better throttle response with it. It helps draw in more air into the intake over the factory piece.
  19. I live in Southern Indiana and ran the PPE bypass block this winter. I never had an issue with it.
  20. I took the S&B intake box out and replaced it with the OEM air box and an aFe Pro Dry S filter. I left the S&B tube to the turbo in. I want see what kind of mileage I will get with the stock air box and Stillen scoop. I have not driven it yet, but can tell a HUGE difference in the amount of air being pulled in from the duct at the Stillen scoop.
  21. So then file a claim with your insurance and buy one. They will give you market value of your truck and you can go buy another one.
  22. I thought about that, but decided against it. I had the Trailboss red ones but returned them.
  23. I found these on an add on social media and thought I'd give them a try. Since I have the 3.0, I didn't feel like taking the entire front end and charge air cooler radiator out just to get the tow hooks off to paint or swap them. For $35, these will do. I wish they went all the way back to where the tow hook went into the bumper trim Interested to see the truck backed out of the garage to see the whole front end.
  24. I got it from this guy on Facebook. He has them in the gray, black, or atmosphere colors. It was $140 shipped in the gray color match. https://www.facebook.com/Block8head Banks has one as well for the 19-21 trucks. I don't think they are any different for the 22+ trucks, but Banks says they wont fit.
  25. The hardest part was getting the plug out. The video below shows how to add fluid after he installs the PPE transmission pan. It took me just shy of a quart changing the block and transmission cooler. FYI, if you do the cooler, get yourself a pair of the fittings from the dealer. I was lucky and didn't lose any of my clips, but could see where it would be very easy.
