  1. I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 6.0 that is having some hesitation/cutting out on acceleration. It’s weird it seems like if you ease into the throttle it doesn’t cut out but if you mash on the gas it acts like it wants to die. It does it in park and in drive. First noticed it when I was pulling my boat out of the lake and I could barely make it up the boat ramp, it was spitting in sputtering until it eventually seems like it cleared up and started going normal. I replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel pump, fuel filter, ran seafoam through the gas, and change the air filter but it seems to not of helped there’s also no check engine light. What could be the issue, thanks!
  2. All gears are working other than 1st, if you put it in drive it starts in 3rd, and you can manually shift it into 2nd but not 1st. I saw on some other forums it could be solenoid A is that right?
  3. I replaced it because my torque converter wasn’t locking, and so far from my test drive afterwards overdrive is good now just no 1st gear...
  4. I just took the truck on a better road test, all gears are working other than 1st, if you put it in drive it starts in 3rd, and you can manually shift it into 2nd but not 1st. I saw on some other forums it could be solenoid A is that right?
  5. I just put a new valve body in my 2006 Silverado with new accumulator pistons and solenoid’s and now that I have it all put together I went to drive it and it seems like it is stuck in a high gear like second or third and it has reverse has anyone had this issue before, is there some thing to reset like a transmission module?
  6. Would it have piston slap while it’s warm? It also has good oil pressure too I should add. And it does only do it at idle.
  7. I have an 06 Silverado with 215k miles. Has the L33 Aluminum Block 5.3 in it. It runs great, has good power, but has an odd ticking/knocking noise. It doesn’t make the noise until it’s been running for about a minute so I don’t think it’s exhaust. I also do not think it’s a lifter because it sounds more lower end towards the rear of the engine. Has anyone had any experience with these L33s knocking? It has been making this noise for a while now and it’s very annoying/embarrassing. I’m not sure if oil has anything to do with it but I use penzoil 5w30 full syn. Let me know if you have any ideas, thanks.
