  1. I preferred the hard top over the soft top. So for this particular one it folds up into the first 1/3 section and there is two straps you secure so it doesn't open back up. I didn't get the one that went up the glass because of visibility. But if you did need the whole bed, there is 4 screw clamps that you can unscrew and then just put the cover in the bed or in the garage before heading out. The side rails are the only things that need to stay on. I'll grab some pictures of it later today.
  2. Also check out Gator's. I just installed yesterday and am very happy with it. https://gatorcovers.com/p/gator-efx-hard-fold-tonneau-cover/v/chevy/silverado-1500/2021/
  3. I also had to wait to get my TB, mainly because of how picky I was with what I wanted; I wanted the 6.2L, north sky blue, crew cab, standard bed, sunroof, and a few others. I bought it sight unseen, I test drove white 5.3l and then bought this one. Waited about 3 weeks to finally get delivered and love it all. It doesn't have the performance package but I do plan on added a cold air intake shortly. I've talked quite a few guys on Instagram that are running the RC 2" SST kit and they are really happy with it so I'm leaning towards that kit within the few months.
  4. Being the PNW means we get plenty of rain so I just figured it would be best to prepare for that with a tonneau cover for the truck. I ended up going with a Gator Hard Fold for my 6'6" bed. The install was very easy. Mount two rails on each side of the truck bed and then put the cover down. Secure the cover into the rails with 4 hand tighten screws. 5. Just the plain black one from Home Depot Looks awesome man! I thought about that antenna as well but went with the non-ammo one instead. I'm planning on keeping the exhaust stock as, for now... Thank you! I'm around Renton area. No not at all, I didn't run a front plate on the M5 either and never had an issue with it.
  6. Also got a tonneau cover installed yesterday. https://gatorcovers.com/p/gator-efx-hard-fold-tonneau-cover/v/chevy/silverado-1500/2021/
  7. Ohh that's awesome! Got any more information about wiring it up? I'm thinking about doing that same thing for my Uniden R3. Thanks!
  8. Officially got all the chrome off of the truck. Even though technically this was supposed to be replaced by the dealer with the Dark Essentials Package, I went ahead and did it myself. Got it from ebay (link below), came within a few days from NJ. Install was pretty easy, most of the time was taken removing the old tape. It did come with this template which I used to mask off so that I can get the alignment correct. - Silverado 6.2L Matte Black Emblem
  9. Finally got rid of all the chrome on the truck (wheels don't count) https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-2020-Chevrolet-Silverado-6-2L-Matte-Black-Emblem-84192174-GMC-Sierra/303363433099?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
  10. Not sure about the process but I found the one for the Silverado too and it seems really cool. I might end up getting this summer when I run out of mods to do. The Silverado one had a pretty good guide on it is to install them which didn't look too hard. https://www.oraclelights.com/products/2019-2020-chevy-silverado-1500-oracle-colorshift-rgb-w-headlight-drl-upgrade?rq=mk_chevrolet~md_silverado~yr_2021&variant=32365958332513
  11. Got another modification done. Replaced the chrome Z71 badges with black ones with the red insert. Got these on amazon (link below). The install took maybe an hour. The hardest part really was getting the old tape off the car. I did use tape to mark the location of the badge before removing it (highly recommend). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08P35XBNX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  12. On the way to getting rid of all the chrome, I replaced the chrome Z71 decals with blacked out ones. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08P35XBNX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  13. The easiest one out of the three. Just open the hood and find the right spot. Twist and pull it out. Hope these picture help. Just remember that if you put the new bulb in and it doesn’t work, take out the bulb and flip it 180 and then try it again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If you on the fence between to the two brands. I would recommend trying to the reverse lights first and see how they come to the Sylvanias ones. If you like it, then go for the rest.
  15. Definitely yes. I believe it was like $100 for all three sets. Havn't really noticed the turn signals yet but the reverses for sure, makes a big difference at night (and within the camera too)
  16. Hey, download the Tapatalk app on your phone and it will allow you to put all the photos you want. It will do the resizing for you Awesome build btw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. First fill up in the truck. Love the gas station lighting
  18. Update all the none LED bulbs to LED (Reverse lights, license plate lights and turn signals) from LasFit. I posted more photos on my thread.
  19. Something similar to this? https://www.roughcountry.com/chevy-forged-tow-hook-rs132.html?find=2021-chevy-silverado-1500-4wd-750287
  20. LasFit.com LED lights came today. I was surprised that almost everything in the truck is using LED expect the turn signals, reverse lights and license plate lights. Here is the link for those that also want to upgrade. Made a really big difference. https://www.lasfit.com/collections/led-whole-package-for-chevrolet-silverado/products/2019-2020-chevrolet-silverado-custom-fit-led-headlight-low-beam-h11-w-dust-cover?afmc=1tz&utm_campaign=1tz&utm_source=leaddyno&utm_medium=affiliate&variant=32507806187604 Overall the install took about an hour. The hardest part for me was the license plate lights since my hands really didn't fit so I had to use some needle nose pliers. Plus it was like 40 degrees out tonight but I really wanted to get these installed. NOTE: Since these are LED make sure you test them before you put them in. If there is not light coming form the bulb; remove the bulb and rotate it 180. Before (stock) . . 21. Mine were chrome when I went to pick up the truck but I told the sales person that they need to be black. He said he'll follow up with his manager and let me know. I'll probably just grab it on my first oil change time.
  22. Awesome setup. I'm assuming that kit can work on TB as well? Do you by chance have the link for the parts you purchased? I was also looking at the RL 2" SST kit but you setup looks solid.
  23. Yeah I tried to wrap in some carbon fiber wrap but it was difficult on the edges so Plastic dip was the way to go. If I could take the chrome part off easily then I might wrap but for now, it’s good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thank you! Just the chrome, I left the center part just how it was. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Got a few things done today, first was able to plastic dip the chrome off of the front bowtie. The process was pretty easy. Cleaned down the area with rubbing alcohol, masked off the area around it, sprayed the first coat kind of thick, waiting 15 mins for the next three coats, waited about two hours before removing the extra. I also ordered new 6.2L and Z71 badges that should arrive sometime this week. Also got some organizing tools for the center console - Center Console Organizer Tray & Center Console Divider Thanks!
