My radio replacement solved that issue. I had a spot 15 km away that I always drop the signals so that was the first place I went after the replacement. But I agree the reception of the vehicle is horrendous. I used to lose radio signals in locations that have never been an issue before in any other vehicle I’ve owned. Technology is a pita!

So with the Diablo predator 2 you do not have to have an unlocked ECM? Or do you?

I am still looking for plug and play tuner. Is this still not available? Not finding any post other than this for search results. I am up in Canada and having difficulty finding a trust worthy shop to do work as indicated as required in previous posts. As much as I would like to increase my horsepower, at this point just having a dependable DFM delete is my primary concern. I travel mostly highway and unless I shift to L continuously-which I forget to do all the time since I usually start out in town, the noise down the highway is unbearable shifting in and out of gears. There is a major chip shortage here and my dealer books only list generic modules for 17 up and told me to let him know what I want to order and I’m sure just trying to make sure that I buy one that is going to suit my purpose. I am running a 21 GMC AT4 6.2 L with Magnaflow true duels and factory intake. Any advice appreciated. I was leaning toward Diablo or Edge but going bonkers trying to figure it out with just a web search.

Haven’t updated for a bit on this post however radio has been replaced, while some issues have been corrected I still receive black screen, glitches with radio becoming unresponsive, and inability to connect to device. The new radio has a completely different layout than the previous. A bit annoying that you have to log into your account to get it to function, as you have to set up your profile. It probably took me about three days to get my truck back to where it was for personal preferences. With passive lock, lighting, sound set up and app placement I believe my problem is bigger than the radio it’s self, I do think it is something to do with the master computer control module. Charging mat function still far from the point of dependability so I am still tethered to apple cord. it seems that we have to go through slow Mo checklist according to GMC Canada. my dealership has been fairly decent but still feel this is unacceptable time frame and protocol. Oiiiiy!!!! Beginning to wonder at this point if I should just travel with my Yamaha Music Cast . I could swap out the radio unit entirely with aftermarket but I don’t believe that would solve the issue. The vehicle also goes through some strange cycling at its own intervals which are random. I can be sitting in the garage hours after returning or even days and it just decides to go through some little whirly noises like it does when you first get in or after shutting down. One would think with all the people experiencing this issue, they could actually solve it. It’s been over a year. And if apple wont work with you, quit installing their products?!

Well today feels like visit 1 million but The truck is going in just so they can obtain the part number off the back of the radio so they can replace. I can only hope that the OTA updates resolve some of the customer posts on this thread. I have been plagued with this issue forjust over a year. GMC is forcing the dealers to jump through hoops at my expense. Why the part number could not be found from a build sheet is beyond me. After dropping a fortune in suspension that sitting on the floor that I will not install until this item is resolved, I am thoroughly fed up. I am giving another 30 days to rectify the issue before I trade it off on a raptor. I can easily sell the suspension part sitting on the floor as they have not been mounted. It’s a shame because I really like this truck otherwise. There are many grapes that I have with it however you will get that in any vehicle. GMC Canada has really fell short and ****** the bed on this experience for me. I have three requirements of any vehicle I buy: Horsepower, heated seats, and music and not necessarily in that order depending on my mood. I cant say which looks mote aggressive as I have not seen wildpeaks in person. But hopefully pictures come through of my Toyo At3 mounted. Not very aggressive looking but the tradeoff of handling/ noise elimination justified for myself

I was told to buy the nittos but up in Manitoba, I just Didn’t trust them for the long & brutal winters we have up here. Our roads and highways are in terrible shape. We have potholes big enough to take up residence in, and our snow clearing is not always done right off the hop. I needed something that I could feel safe with in the winter. I’ve had previous experience with the At2 and I liked them. My husband had Nitto trail grapplers that were not a great endorsement. They cupped and wore out rather quickly. the Toyo At3 were i stalled on our tail end of winter and I got to test them in a few blizzards and decent snow dumps and with the icy spring thaw/freeze and I was really impressed. Traction was quite shocking at how good they actually hooked on acceleration and did not slide in braking. We have a couple of intersections here they get pretty polished by yahoos ripping out of the local Canadian tire, and it’s a sheet of ice around that corner. my truck came with the duratracs and the low speed him drove me bonkers and they were useless in icy conditions. the Toyos are not as aggressive looking as I would like, but I need tires that handle well in all conditions and these fit my needs best. And I went down in rim size and up on rubber to compensate best I could looks wise. I took a stab in dark and got the 285/70/17 and no rubbing, pretty sure the 305 would require trimming and/or cutting as it is close at full turn. No one here seems to run the wildpeaks but maybe its a location/availability deal???

So apparently MF is not able to address the DFM as GMC module controls the Cylinders- Or that is jist of info I got. Looks like a programmer is only way to get rid of drone and annoying shift feedback. Will be looking into that as a problem solver as I can't hold a gear-depending on wind- at highway speed, and the shifting up and down drives me literally bonkers! Well played fuel efficiency engineers. It works great until it doesn't. I found the efficiency BS drove me bonkers on my previous truck also while using cruise control. I appreciate that GMC at least allows you option to bypass the adaptive cruise, but wish it was a feature you could set and forget, not engage every trip, much like auto off which you also have to push switch for. but there are a lot of buttons I would love to not have to press in life, just to get on gas!.

I have the same issue unfortunately I have a few others in addition to the screen going black. It started with poor audio quality, skipping, poor reception both plugged into phone and bluetooth. unfortunately it wasn’t just the CarPlay it was doing it with Siri and regular radio as well as my phone calls. I thought is was just needing update. I have been on the phone with OnStar trying to get it resolved, they checked my radio signal, made sure my phone tower location was set to the correct one for my area, they boosted my signal strength over the air while on onstar call and rebooted the whole radio ota. But unfortunately no matter how many times I ask them to remove the Internet from my free trial they never do and my phone has to be several feet away from my truck in order for me to use it without turning off my Wi-Fi. Just forget wireless settings on phone? Nope. Somehow it possess it back into functioning??? WTAF?!?! After all of the troubleshooting with technician, he determined that my whole infotainment system needed to be replaced. I have yet to hear from anybody but do you have a case number from a couple weeks ago. This Friday I had a scary moment, I had my cruise set to 62 and my truck just accelerated up to 70 something before I brake checked it down to speed, the screen went black on the infotainment system, and my information centre in the instrument cluster went to trip counter. I had to stop the truck and turn off the ignition in order to reset it to function. Now however every time I drive it it reverts back to trip on the instrument cluster upon start up. I will be calling my dealer and find out what the hell is going on as this is becoming dangerous. And no I didn’t accidentally press the button up too long on this cruise control, I only pressed set by getting to the desired by pedal and managed to hold set speed a couple hundred feet B4 it crapped the bed. I had something similar to this happen on a previous vehicle, and that ended up being the main computer module. They told me it was caused by leaving my key fob in my truck while in garage, so I no longer do that. It never once ran away on me though. This is the second strike for this truck. From day one my lane assist did not work and it was found to be a faulty front driver side camera which was replaced.within a week of ownership. however I have tested it after it’s been fixed and I can hit the gravel on the other side of the road before self correcting as there is no indication at times of lane departure. I sporadically get a seat rumble and I’ve checked my settings, there’s just no rhyme or reason. My automatic engine shut off is a joke. It starts and stops and starts and stops awaiting at an intersection so badly that people probably think I have turrets of the foot. Now its common practice to turn off upon start up. Jeebs

You have to modify your tailgate to work with the multi pro and the LED badges. (Relocate badge a tad and cut hole for wiring) You can probably search it on the forum ( I find the search feature not to bad if not as common a search as “tires” or “exhaust”). And the guy posted what was all necessary I just can’t recall where it was but I believe it was titled “ Led or backlit badge/emblems”.. He has a decent walk-through with pics of what he all had to do.. googling gmc.com or .ca or . Wherever your local, and hit model and then accessories will bring up the badge/ emblem options and a good selection of other goodies

I am running the toyo AT3 And the 285 /70 R17. I have about 700 or so kilometres on them. I ran the AT2 and really liked them on a previous unit . Obviously time will tell for wear, however what I have experienced so far I really like. I was torn between these, Discovery and the Falkens. My truck came stock with the 18 inch Dura tracks and I absolutely hated those tires. Different strokes but I felt like I was driving a Haywagon and the noise was obnoxious. My biggest pet peeve with those was how many rocks they threw out my own vehicle . The Toyos are much quieter, I can drive down a gravel road without slowing down to a crawl. They have more psi footprint touching the ground at all times, so they do feel a little stiffer. Our winter is just on its way out but have used them in a couple of snow storms and icy/melty and fresh snow conditions, and was not uncomfortable with my decision. They do not have a very aggressive look due to the fact that they are a squarer profile tire with a heavy tread pattern. But a good milage rating and decent price. I guess it really depends on what you’re hoping to get out of your truck and what you’re planning to use it for. I have not seen much Falken Equip vehicles nor was able to ask anybody. When I purchased these there was a toyo rebate so it was kind of win-win. I also got a quote on Nitto Ridgegrapplers same size, Was $89 more per tire for the RGs up in Manitoba.

Magnaflow system catback 2019 Silverado/sierra part number is 19489. DFM sounds still applicable. I was able to clean it up a little bit by running it in sport mode. But the back pressure on the XL gives you a good amount of burble. They are working on the X mod but currently only gotten to the TRX and Ram models at the moment. I am awaiting them to start on the Sierras/Silverado. I never welded my system yet even though I have a slight tick at clamp. I want to see what parts may be interchangeable. It is loud however. I like it and love the fact that I can hear my intakes screaming for air. Are awaiting the decision on what my options are for working with the system with a new X model or replacing it when it becomes available

Supply & demand and 100% Rona. It’s crazy. I lost 5K trading in a 5 yr old truck so I was happy. But dealerships around here are scarce for new and used also. The prices people are asking for used just make me SMH.

First I wouldn’t except anything less than having the dealership shampoo the engine and clean your truck. you were going to get 1000 different replies and you can research it on 10 different forms and get 10 different answers. For myself I have three questions that make my decision. 1.How often do I plan to change my oil in kilometres or hours? 2. How much strain am I actually putting on my engine? Am I towing regularly or just cruising around town.? ( this may change answer to question 1) 3. How much do I feel comfortable spending on said oil? We have sponsorship from a company that is reputable and has specs available online and is used across the world in various disciplines of sport. Is it the best? Who knows, but its used in far more abusive situations than my truck will likely incur. That price consideration and peace of mind knowing that I am not getting a garbage product in addition to my answers to the three questions above makes it a winner for me when I choose to go back to doing my own oil changes.Fortunately the filter is within the brand specs at the top grumpybear listed so that will be my route also. When I bought my truck it came with two free oil changes and another two free oil changes were worked into the deal so that is going to be my route as it is the most economical until they are used up. Different strokes. And understanding of your specific requirements/ piece of mind will always get you further than 2nd hand opinions.

Thanks to a bunch of posts on here and a bit of luck I went with my my set up. 21 At4 stock lift no level, no spacers, no trimming or rubbing. A bit stiffer ride than duratracs due to squarer profile. Super happy with less rocks being flung down gravel and reduced tire hum. method 17x 8.5 0 offset Toyo AT3 285/70-17

My investment portfolio is just fine, but thanks for your sage advice and concern. However I will choose to invest in my local and US economy by supporting the people who work at both companies

Just had my Magnaflow catback system installed. I has an MF on previous vehicle and loved the deep sound and quality. Havent had a lot of time on it as of yet but so far a big improvement in sound. I didn’t want obnoxious, but wasn't satisfied with stock. It is a bit noisier in cab, which I enjoy as I like the audio confirmation I am running a V8. I had option to keep HDMI tips but wanted that custom look that the MF provides. They currently only offer chrome tips at this time. Had installed at a local shop, as pricing for labour was reasonable vs. Aggravation, and broken skin I would be sure to encounter, and they went through hassle of boxing up stock and loading. I am up in Canada and was under $2K installed. I know with my previous truck with this set up there was a definitive break in sound change so will update in awhile if any noticeable change. I had a lot of compliments on my other truck as Flowmaster is the popular choice around here and just has a different pitch. I like the deep, throaty rumble of old school muscle cars and this did not disappoint. Hope the fix is released soon, just picked up a 21 At4 and does same on Carplay but also does on Sirius xm in country???. Wasn't sure if it was the wifi losing signal- and shouldn’t since its supposed to be satellite, but annoying as all can be. Sometime the tech is more frustrating than it’s worth.

Well unlike this thread… My passion for ATVs is not dead ha ha and who couldn’t use another gander at some quads nowadays??? these are ours 43 is mine, 52 is my husbands. Our whole family raced for years nationally, we still ice race And are waiting for the borders to open up so we can go down south and race motocross again as we only race down south so it’s been trying with this whole Covid thing. We still ride practice up here in Manitoba. I was ice racing his ktms as he rides he just switched back to bike and want to keep my clutches fresh for mx haha Was at mx track last weekend.

Did you do badges your self? Or do you mind providing where you got them? I would love to have maple leaf on at4 and a few other things but hard to find someone to do. Thanks, they look great!

When bought the truck these factory ones were ordered for it but not installed as they hadn’t shown up yet. I wasn’t going to install them but with previous knee surgeries it’s just too tough for me to hop in to my truck without. They are very good for grip and actually a nicer look then I thought they would be....however they are a pita to keep clean.

I had been scouring the forum, web and youtube for soundclips , pictures etc. I pulled the plug on Magnaflow catback 19489. I had Magnaflow on previous truck and really like the deeper tone. I only got to drive around a little bit yesterday so no major feedback yet other than the deep grumble gives me a S*** eating grin every time I whack the pedal. Plan to get out on highway today, so want to see if there is any drone. Will try sport mode and see if any differences in sound/ seat of pants feel. I like the dual tips as just gives a personalized look and stock shape on bumper with bezels removed is a lot better then I expected. Mind dirty fingerprints, snapped pick when I got back from shop. Have to figure out how to post sound clips yet. but is a nice subtle change from stock at idle and noticeable when on gas. From previous experience with MF they get a tiny bit louder once packing worked in and heated around 500 ish miles.
