  1. I have the G25s in my dash and the 6x9 GS690 in the door with the Bose premium setup in my 21. They made a world of difference from stock setup. No more muddy bass and the mids and highs are well balanced
  2. Here is what I did on my 21 Sierra. Unit is under passenger seat, speaker is under drivers seat and mic is in the side cubie hold of the center console
  3. Just tap it into you license plate lights on the BCM. Forgot the color of the module and wire pin, but you can search here for it
  4. Sounds good with the bose amp. Got everything from Crutchfield, just needed to change 1 spade connector. I am running the Telsa screen in mine and have the output run through the AUX input in my truck. That way I can use the EQ in the Tesla screen to adjust. Crutchfield sends you the 6x9 adapters. The AF 6x9 holes do not quite line up with the adapters, but that was a simple fix. Just drill a new hole and put a backing nut on it. 3 of the holes line up. Eventually, I will replace the bose amp and go with a 6 channel amp for the speakers. The factory sub and my Kicker seem to work ok together
  5. AF GS25 up on top and AF 6x9 in the front doors, JL Audio 6.5 Co-axials in rear doors. GM/Kicker sub under rear seat with bass volume knob in center console.

  7. Looking for the same. Would you have a link to the the t harness break out for amp instillation? I have the Bose 7 speaker setup with the dash mounted sub.
  8. I have the 6112 and 5160 on my 21 SLT with the X71 pkg and 3.0l diesel. I change mine with in months of getting the truck. With the Rancho shocks, the front would just pogo over any bumps. At one point I actually think it pogoed the front wheels off the ground, so annoying. With the Bilstein setup it is much more controlled and a tad bit firmer which is fine with me. I set them to max height to level the truck out (3.0l diesel is heavy). I also installed the Bilstein UCA in the front.
  9. I have this setup on my 21 with the 3.0L 6112 in the front with the Bilstein UCA and 5160 in the rear with bags. I have set it up to level the truck with the front set to the highest setting. No issues so far with this setup and the ride quality is a whole magnitude better than the Rancho OEM setup. No more bouncing around after you hit a bump.
  10. I use the pins for the license plate lights to drive my footwell lights. They were replaced with LEDs so there's extra current available. I forgot what pin and module you have to tap off of but it is in here somewhere. I have had no issues for a year and a half with this setup. 2021 SIERRA SLT
  11. This is definitely what you want to use. if you try to tap into the trailer wiring harness for 12v and grd, the ecu thinks you have a trailer hooked up and puts you in trailer mode. I put a marine panel in my bed to give me a 12v cigarette plug, dual usb port and switch to turn on the additional bed lighting and had to run a power line all the way to the battery to power it.
  12. System fully installed. I did keep switch 1 on the on position. Was getting a vibration from the sub that i traced to the mounting bolt for the lug nut bag. This was fixed with a separate bolt and washer to secure the sub separately of the large wingnut assembly . Mounted the bass knob in my console with in easy reach of my hand.
  13. Here is a question for the audio enthusiast, since we are tapping off the Bose sub line level output for the Kicker amp, wouldn't that signal already have a crossover from the BOSE amp? The OEM setup is tapping a full spectrum signal for the right front speaker and would need a crossover to use the signal for a sub
  14. I have foot well lights that come on when lights come on. The secret was tapping into the license plate light circuit. I forgot what pin off the BCM I used but you can do a search here for it.
  15. With my 21 SLT X31, we were calling her the galloping ghost. After 2 months we installed a set of Bilsteins 5160 and chucked the Ranchos. Pretty sure the Airlift bags did not help the bounce either. WOW, what a difference!! Night and day between the 2. Probably overkill for my needs, but it looks cool too! Now to wait for the national back order for the front 6112
  16. Man, that's a relief!! I notice the colors were the same as the speaker colors and had me really scratching my head. i plan on mounting the bass knob in my center console. Just remove the guts from the housing, make a hole and mount the pot. Think I will run the wire along the driver side channels by the doors and coming back to my center console from under the radio/climate controls
  17. Did half the install today. Ran all the wires except the ones from the battery to the cab and the speaker wire from the center console to the door jam. I have a spare connector by where the 2 connectors for the amp and speaker are. Anyone else seen this?
  18. Well I finally pulled the string and ordered it and the bass knob for my 21 Sierra SLT. Plan on installing the system this weekend with this setup.
  19. Great help! Do you have the Bose ANC microphones in your truck. They are located in the headliner by the sun visors on the passenger and driver side. LLj customs makes a ANC bypass harness for it. https://lljcustoms.com/store/ols/products/2014-2019-gmgmc-bose-anc-bypass
  20. could you post a picture of the rig after it is installed? 73 K2MEP
