  1. The "mirror below" is in reference to the link below that paragraph to GM part #13540313. If you use the GM part #1354012 mirror the plug will hit the sensor below the mirror. Far as what wires to tap see the picture below this is the overhead console where the dome light and sunroof controls are. I would recommend using volt meter first to determine the the purple/white wire is a 12 volt switched power and the black/white wire is ground. Using the upfitter manual is a good start on electrical and plug diagrams. https://www.gmupfitter.com/body-builder-manuals/
  2. I did but it wasn't as simple as it was on my 21. They changed the headliner harness on the refresh and the plug for the mirror is not there. I had to purchase a pigtail and hot tap my headliner harness for power. Pigtail Plug The pig tail has 3 wires a red, black and a green. The red wire is needs to be a ignition switched 12 volt power. The black is a ground and the green is a reverse kicker switch. This kicker circuit disengages the auto dim when the transmission is in reverse. The kicker is optional and I did not use this wire. Far as the mirror. If you have the auto crash avoidance you need the mirror below because the plug is horizontal to miss the sensors. Hope this helps. Mirror
  3. Looks like I am the only one out here with this problem?
  4. I got in my truck yesterday morning and noticed that all my SXM radio presets were randomly rearranged. This is the second time this has happened and wondered if anyone has experienced this. Also 2 other annoyance with the refresh radio is the Tune Start does not work and I have not found a way to limit the number of presets. Both of these features worked on my 2021 silverado.
  5. You can get an Onstar plan for just the app and it is much cheaper than the full line of services. Off the top of my head I think I pay around $10 a month and it is well worth it in my mind. The trick is start a chat with an advisor on the Onstar page and just ask a bunch of question about the services. Say that you are on the fence about it and they will eventually get the price down.
  6. On my 2022 RST refresh model the wiring harness was not glued to the head liner. I bought a harness off ebay that plugs into the mirror and had to hot tap a wire in the overhead console harness to power the mirror.
  7. If you are running at 50% cargo capacity in your truck and camper here are your stats. Tongue Load = 988 lb - 103% Capacity Truck GVWR = 7,095 lb - 100% Capacity Truck GCVWR = 15,093 lb - 100% Capacity I would say that camper is in the 3/4 ton truck range. You may be able to pull it but you may not be able to stop it.
  8. Do you have a factory hitch cover? I have seen newer trucks come from the factory with the Curt hitch cover that disables the inner tailgate if the cover is open (if a hitch ball mount is installed).
  9. Check and see if the user profile has been changed. It sounds like the system is operational just a setting in the infotainment system has been changed. There is a setting that disables the door unlock button but will allow the door button to lock the door. I believe this setting can be associated with user profile.
  10. If the mirror is a GM part look on the back (towards the windshield) driver side of the mirror there should be a part number.
  11. Has anyone tried this mod on a 22 refresh RST because I'm trading my 21 RST tomorrow? I used the 13540312 mirror on my 21 and it has worked perfectly with the wiring harness in the head liner. From my initial once over the shroud around the mirror is much larger, I guess for the crash avoidance equipment. Just going to check here first before I order the same mirror.
  12. Glad to know I am not the only one that had the trim affected by bug spray. I didn't have my truck 5 days when I noticed the clear coat pealing on the trim after a friend and I went fishing. The dealer replaced mine under warranty.
  13. Just joined the forum and stumbled upon this thread. I haven't see any post with full length nerf bars. Let me say that the rear bracket is a huge PIA to install if you have the well liners. So far I have loved these steps especially the third step to get items out of the bed. It makes me wonder why you don't see this style very often. If there is a critical reason not to have steps that tie into the bed please let me know.
