  1. same here no change, scare tactics trying to get folks to hoard?
  2. I think they are pretty cool, like a 4wd Elcamino. I saw a new version on the hi-way about a month ago, it had dealer plates, wasn't called Avalanche but the bed body panels and the cab were all 1 piece, Most of the Avalanches and the Cadillac version have succumbed to rust here in the Northeast, the 1s that haven't are bringing decent $, Hi Doug
  3. It's only value would be in scrap metal. No one is going to buy a rear diff that needs new guts. The scrap metal value in my area is $200 a ton so it might be worth $10
  4. Saw $3.76/87 in my travels yesterday, fuel oil down to $3.95
  5. That GM customer service is an AI bot, don't expect a response
  6. Where are you located?
  7. Wow that's pretty low! Is that 87 or E85?
  8. What in the world would you need 10mm "emergency" sockets for? All my vehicles have complete socket sets in them already and even doing high-way assistance a 10mm socket is not frequently used, more often a combo box/open end wrench
  9. If you Google the code there are a few Utube vids on diagnosing the code
  10. Saw $3.96 at truck stop on US1, Mobil next door $4.06bcash
  11. Check for broken bolts holding the exhaust manifolds to the heads, common problem. Dorman makes a repair piece if you find you have broken 1s and don't want to do the surgery to replace them
  12. Home heating oil $4.55,
  13. Compress the spring just enough to ease the pressure so that it can be rotated
  14. ENOUGH!!!! The rules say no politics
  15. Same here, they keep talking about passing enforceable rules but no action as of yet
  16. Mobil dropped their price to match the truck stop next door, Was $4.86 yesterday am, when I filled up in the afternoon $4.61 cash/ $4.69 plastic, surrounding stations $4.69 cash. KEEP IT GOING DOWN !!!
  17. What happened? I've been too busy to catch the news
  18. $4.74/87 on the turnpike, local $4.25 and up, Hiway $4.30 and up. Diesel on the pike $5.95
  19. I would replace both injectors while you have it apart
  20. Can't you test it where you spliced in the new injector harnesses? No need to disconnect the injectors. To check at the ECM , using a wiring diagram determine which wire triggers the bad injector and test it at the ECM, you can take a needle and pierce the insulation on the wire if need be
  21. Check the working 1 and compare the light it should be 12v bright but the pulse may be so fast that it looks like a solid light. If it's not 12v check at the ECM
  22. Wonderful, Thanks Donnie boy!
  23. I'm pretty sure the ECM has separate drivers for each injector so a bad ECM is a remote possibility. You should be able to test the ground pulse with a test light with the engine idling, just hook the clamp to the positive post. If no pulse check it at the ECM before condemning it
