Like I said 93 gmc v8 5.7 replaced exhaust manifold they were shot and new distributor cap plugs etc and thermo its not leaking coolant but using about a half jug for a 20 mile round trip over heats sometimes not all the time not blowing white smoke might occasionally. No milky substance under oil cap or on dipstick ??

1993 gmc sierra v8 5.7 k just replace both exhaust manifolds and thermostat and housing. When I got vehicle distributor cap wasn't tjghend down have the replacement but when I drive it over heats uses coolant not leaking it but poof gone , no white smoke?
