  1. Just made a run from Palmer, AK to Fairbanks and back. Shitty roads and used auto 4x4 majority of the trip, overall average was 19.2 mpg. I'm ok with that.
  2. I sent an email over, thanks!
  3. Those look great. How's the ride and road noise? Did MPG's take a big hit?
  4. If you need any test pilots running your products in harsh conditions hauling a heavy payload let me know. I'm hauling a truck camper and towing toys up here in Alaska with a '24 Duramax, would be happy to help.
  5. I'm going with the Readylift. We have a high quality accessory shop that does a lot of work on HD trucks in my area. Speaking with the owner, he highly recommended the Readylift. Uses them on his personal truck and regularly hauls 20k lbs. I like the idea of the dual airbags on each side offset from the axel. They seem to have improved upon a technology thats remained relatively unchanged for a long time.
  6. Mine is for 2024, 84564686.
  7. I've been plugging mine in everyday here in Alaska, when I get home from work I'll grab the part number off the sticker. We've been reaching -30 at night, still starting like a dream. I did switch over to 5W-40 for the winter months, seems to help.
  8. I'd post this in the 1500 group.
  9. Do they cover a rental vehicle during the extended time without your truck? I have a two vehicle household with both vehicles being needed and used daily. If my truck was out for 45 plus days, i'd be screwed. We buy these trucks to depend on them. A few days here and there in the shop I can stomach, a continuous couple of months out of service is unacceptable. I had a similar issue with a 2018 Ford F150 during the peak of covid, Ford ultimately bought the truck back. The norm has become pay 65-100k for a new truck, breaks down and sits because of a broken supply chain and the customer just has to deal with the "inconvenience". These manufacturers should be absolutely ashamed.
  10. Best truck I've owned, and I've owned many. Had always owned half tons, this is my first 3500 HD. Extremely capable rig.
  11. You know you can't brag about 295's fitting without posting a pic, right?
  12. I live in Alaska and haven't had any issues. Every tank I add Opti-Lube Winter Anti Gel, works great and adds lubrication to the fuel system. Good so far.
  13. The size isn't doing to be that much different unless you have the 8ft bed on the 2500.
  14. Clean! Looks great. I've always had caps on my trucks.
  15. Just picked up a 2021 GMC Sierra Elevation with the Duramax. Smooth truck, about to find out how it performs in an Alaska winter.
  16. Had one on my last F150. Good and bad. Strength is unreal, I had mounted a CVT RTT on a full length rack and traveled all over Alaska. Main issues- leaks at the window seals. RSI provided new seals that supposedly fix the issue, sold the truck and removed the cap so didn't test it. Latches also easily freeze with the slightest bit of moisture and are impossible to open. Overall I will buy another one for my Sierra when it arrives, not many caps on the market can handle that kind of weight and abuse.
