    It's a sensor issue. Find a shop that can isolate which sensor needs to be replaced.

    Is the wear on the seat edge by the door? If so, using the step to get out of the truck will help immensely.

    I didn't tow anything with either truck, but went from a 2020 5.3 8-speed to a 2021 6.2 10-speed and the 6.2 was noticeably quicker and had more torque.

    It sounds like something that could happen to any truck regardless of the the brand and Chevy is having an issue obtaining the parts to fix it. Be patient and you'll get your truck back.

    It's not much different than towing a 20ft boat. So if you've pulled a boat you should have an idea about what it's like. I assume the trailer has a tongue jack in case you get into an area you can't back out of. What scares me is securing the car to the trailer. I'd be clueless.

    If your intention is to reduce cabin heat, I'd leave your windows as is. Tinted glass doesn't reduce cabin heat an appreciable amount.

    I'd look for a new 2022 LTD LT Z71. They can still be found and are nicely discounted. I hate the new console. Prime real estate unnecessarily taken up by a shifter.

    Can you use the funnel that came with the truck? Kinda clumsy, but may work.

    I read the regular washing during the winter in road salt areas helps to prevent rust. Not sure I believe it, however.

    It does not sound like an engine tick. The sound is too shallow.

    Well, they look fine in my other Chevy - so why not a Silverado?

    Do you have an aftermarket antenna on truck? If you wife's phone is paired then the infotainment will switch to her phone when she plays a video or clicks on any web page with audio. You could unpair her phone. No sure if there is another way around it. Buttons change according to what app is running at the time.
