  1. Well dealer exchanged truck yesterday at no charge.
  2. Had many other electrical issues with ours. Dealer exchanged our truck.
  3. Nope the truck went back to working on its own with remote start. This truck has a mind of it's own. Remote start truck went out got in it and all is heated up and ready to go. We never touch and changed any settings.
  4. I am on 17.2 just forgot to add the.2
  5. Nope, I updated my OS to 17.0 yesterday and the charging cradle issues with the IPhone didn't go away.
  6. Everything has been working 2 days before, but again this truck has a mind of its own. We changed nothing and always leave in automatic on controls. So remote starting has changed. I am in the same feelings as 64BAwagon said it has a wiring harness issue. This truck has been an issues sense the day we picked it up. Dealer knows something isn't right and is exchanging it.
  7. Dealer is going to swap out the truck for another truck. I have had to many issues with it.
  8. I have owned 2 gooseneck trailers, a race car trailer, 30' tongue pull travel trailer, 42' 5th travel trailer 24' car hauler, and 3 16' utility trailers. The travel trailers pigtail have always been an issue until they are clocked correctly. I was more talking of the clocking of the wires to work correctly. To me makes no difference about the color. I have no idea why some RV or other trailer group came out with the RV pin out. Why can't everything just be the standard 7-way. I have come across this with the last 5th wheel I pulled and rewired the trailer plug to match my trucks. My F-350, 2500HD and my new GMC 1500. I have learned over the years to verify the trailer is done correctly from 4-way, 5-way and 7-way. Hate the 5-way cause it seems to be a bastard for any trailer plug.
  9. Sorry, I am not incorrect. I just checked my 2024 and on the cover of the 7way connector it shows the 7way (Traditional SAE wiring. Plus I just completed rewire a trailer that I haul with and added the reverse lights. Here is the picture of different 7way setup and my 2024 is the traditional pin out. My 2013 2500HD is the same way as well and had an issues the first time I hooked it to my 5th wheel travel trailer.
  10. Your truck is wired for normal 7way and not RV trailer the pinout is different. Do your research on trailer wiring diagrams.
  11. Mine has done this 4 times with the auto turned off.
  12. I feel you pain, I have the 2024 1500 and having nothing but problems with it. You can see the issues I am having pretty much the same as yours. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/265368-2024-headaches/
  13. Well 2 new ones have come up now. 1. When remote started the temp controls have stopped working and yes the controls always are left in auto. 2. Today wife starts truck and both drives display and infotainment screen go black while driving off, shorting after hitting a bump in parking lot both displays come on but no sound from the radio. Change the channel sound comes on.
  14. Well the 2024 1500's are having the same issues. We have been having issues with ours sense day 1.
  15. That's the reason I have joined the forum to see what everyone else is happing with trucks.
  16. Glad we aren't the only one with the issue. After I seen someone post on another thread I start IPhones are the phones having the issues with the charge cradle. I have had issues with many things on this truck sense we picked it up.
  17. The dealer has done all of that your speaking of ARedSierra. Today before she took it back to dealer for the 5th time with only her driving it sense last night the set memory placement moved on its own. Today the dealer has reset the system and pulled information to send off to GM tech support for the second time.
  18. My iphone is running 17.1.2
  19. 2024 GMC Sierra 1500SLT crew cab x31 package 5.3L Where to began. 1. Took delivery of truck with 3 miles on it, salesman went through and help setup truck took out of demo mode. Setup onstar, wifi, and connected phones to the system and saved everything. Wife and I go eat on the way home. All settings cleared and went back to demo mode. Wife took truck back to deal next day the did a reset and programmed again. Its working yea. 2. Took a trip with truck less then 300 miles on it with the auto off turn off and truck dies while coming up to intersection. oh goodie to start the truck you must put in park and press brake for it to start, putting in neutral doesn't start. This has happened 4 times and no codes have been detected at dealer so they can't duplicate it. 3. Infotainment system is looking up on maps and no GPS this is a weekly issues dealer can't duplicate that ether. It's done it enough that we have sent the videos to dealer to show them. 4 OnStar issues, Drivers side microphone went bad less the 1k miles on truck. 5. Drivers information panel changes displays on its own when starting truck and its worse sense I just got the truck back out from dealer. 6. Phone charge cradle sucks. You have to stand on your head stick your tongue and put your arm out the window to pick up phone and that's without a case on phone. Once you get it to connect and you drive off it drops charging. They put their little test box on it and says they can't duplicate the problem. Well we all know there test equipment was designed to work on the auto even yours don't. 7. It has a relay clicking sound in the dash between the defrost vents and infotainment display. Dealer can't hear it ether and duplicate. I told them drive for a few days. Have service manager take it home daily so they could see and hear the issues. They had it for a week and he drove it one day cause I tracked the truck daily with the GM app. OnStar even put in service notes truck has issues.
  20. I have a 2024 they have replaced the microphone above driver it was back but the phone charging caddy is a whole new issue. The charger will work if your parked and get to set just right, but start driving and it drops charging every time and that's without a case on my iphone13. Dealer has looked at it 3 times but it works just fine with the gm tester which everyone knows it will work. They had the damn thing built to match the charger.
  21. Well they are still having all the same issues in my 2024. I have even had the motor die 4 times and yes the auto off was turned off. Also have a relay clicking sound between the defrost ports and infotainment head unit. Been dealing with these issues starting with 3 miles on the truck.
  22. You can reset this by holding down the phone disconnect on the steering wheel until the dash goes black. I have the 2024 Sierra 1500 its a real pain in the butt. Make sure you are parked when you do it or it will not reset. Been having this issue sense day one, mine also has issue with OnStar being able to talk to them. Other issue is sometimes when Dash will change on its own when you turn off the truck and get back in it, when you start it the dash goes from last setting to showing trip log or air pressure. This is the real killer while driving under 10 mph with the auto on/off deactivated it has died 4 times. When this happens you must put in park and press brake petal to restart truck. Not happy at all with this truck. It had 3 miles on it when we took delivery.
