  1. My truck is in...picking it up Tuesday! EDIT: Added picture.
  2. Hopefully, you aren't talking about the 3M scotchlock fasteners...never use those.
  3. It used to be that if your truck didn't come with the trailer camera system, the 4 pin plug is right next to the 7 pin. I believe the trailer camera plugs took it's place. On my boat trailer, I just converted the harness to a 7 pin plug and a junction box since I also added EOH disc brakes. https://www.amazon.com/CXTM-Heavy-Inline-Trailer-Junction/dp/B0BBRDJJ7W/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3JBIZAP791BF7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8WdbiNq-b1FxG1LXjk-DUEbKBUR5uSab4yGG6v5dVqWsoYCrbCr07IzvsLS84Gpt3PMPSbqmyCrctYXD3R_K4SVz29Vq2HFffe6EnXEbC9rWVrxcFNZ0HvSPKNOge1cC1cr_RDuEgldKVtUGQtHnd0g4xIOP4h7YgM1jskvsJnN-ogNp1UHtR4iFjmtqHWr-wRm93TprHMOwQgezog8W8UmWHmqRaz-n_2LEeWmvsJY.iMRnl6v09nPJbTpXDKy6T1HcVMNibJiL7kZszOoht5g&dib_tag=se&keywords=7+pin+trailer+cord+and+junction+box&qid=1713116049&sprefix=7+pin+trailer+cord+and+junction+bo%2Caps%2C166&sr=8-4
  4. Michelin Defenders. I don't need an A/T tire. As far as Michelin quality going down, I have not seen it. I have some Defenders on a 2018 F-150 with 40K on the tires. They have over half their tread left.
  5. I still wouldn't touch it. BTW...former EE for GM. Spoke at length with people in the engine ECU areas and they wouldn't touch an aftermarket tune.
  6. You mean programmers where you are modifying fuel tables? If so, leave it stock.
  7. You are in the HD forum. HD trucks do not have Super Cruise.
  8. What happens when you take the hitch out and back up?
  9. It doesn't do it in when you put it in reverse? I have a ford that does with my WDH on but don't have my GMC yet to know.
  10. Funny thing...I sent an email to my sales guy at the dealer today. He replied that there was no new status. I trust the online chat way more than my dealer now. I always thought the sales guy was on the lazy side. This confirms it.
  11. Hopefully, I can find out the exact date it actually shipped. When I got status today, I believe it already shipped
  12. Found out today that mine has finished production and is on it's way to CA. I ordered on 1/17/24. It may have been finished before today. I then called up my SnugTop dealer to order my shell. Lead time on it is 6 to 12 weeks...almost as much as the truck itself. Price of the shell went up 20% since I got a quote in January.
  13. One thing I have noticed, looking at various install videos, is that some people put the boot at the bottom and some put it at the top on the rear shocks. What I am reading is that the writing on the shock should be right side up. This means the boot should be at the bottom.
  14. That's what I am looking for..thanks.
  15. He didn't say anything about the image being upside down.
  16. Thank you. What I have been having a hard time determining is the 5100 front. With that part number(24253161), I see some sources that say it's for a 1.5" lift. Other places say it's 0" to 1.5" lift. Not sure what to believe.
  17. Of course he was probably correct...not needed until then assuming it was properly greased at the factory. I might do it but likely not super necessary unless it's on a severe service maintenance routine. I know of people who are religious about lubing the suspension components but never think its worth changing brake fluid every 3 years which is WAY more important,
  18. Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Is the right hand side of the road on the right side of the screen? In other words, the camera takes the image it is seeing to the left, if you are looking backwards, and puts it on the right side of the screen. Post a couple pictures.
  19. I wonder what the specs for HP/Torque vs RPM between the two.
  20. Keep your large mirrors, so when you sell it, the new owner can put them back on.
  21. What part numbers did you come up with?
  22. Just get the pan that has the indicator hole. I think the OEM pan already has that but since I don't have my truck yet, I can't verify. On my first ATF change, I will be replacing the pan with one with a drain plug.
  23. I am glad mine won't have the markers either.
  24. Was an option on the 24 Denali I just ordered.
