  1. Well, eating my own words. After a few days with this thing, with the windows up, its straight up annoying. Windows down its fine. I went ahead and ordered a few parts I needed to swap in (I kept my stock pipes) a 22" magnaflow knock off. Unfortunate, because it sounds great. Its just that interior drone. I can't drive with the windows down all the time.
  2. Its loud no doubt. I've had the thought of putting a resonator in front of the muffler, just to see what it does.
  3. Highway speeds ride around 1500rpm, no drone there at all.
  4. Hell I've already got some on low hanging parts of the frame cause my dog thought it was a great back scratcher. Gotta clean it up and put some more coating on it, you can buy spray cans of it.
  5. Flowmaster Outlaw 818112 Just a cold start, temp was in the 50s. Easy kit to install, 3.5" into a flowmaster 10, 3" out. All mendrel bent 409 stainless (same as stock I believe). Drones a bit around the 1800-2000rpm mark, can feel it in the floor board too. Its actually not that bad, atleast to me. Sounds great driving. Love it when you let off the throttle and it starts engine breaking. Swear it almost sounds like driving a manual sometimes other than the 10spd wanting to shift kinda quick not letting you get into the RPMs.
  6. Not sure about backwards compatibility.
  7. Need some walk around pictures.
  8. Split up how? 2.. 3.. orders? Seperated heavier parts out?
  9. Offset/Offset or Offset/Center? 5x11 case? (I think magnaflow makes a 5x8 as well). Was doin some dig'n, there is a enough room on the tail pipe (where it starts down after coming over the axle) for about a 9" resonator. I may go that route. Was looking at this one.
  10. Huh.. I've got a 22" Magnaflow knock off (from ebay, 3.5" 5x11 offset/offset). Haven't had it put on yet, guess we'll eventually see if it does the same to mine. Stock tail pipe out the back still? Wonder if a small resonator before the muffler would help? The 18 year old in me has been eye'n the flowmaster Outlaw but, I'm afraid it'll live up to its "Drone master" nickname. Got any pics of it?
  11. Still the correct part number for a 24 custom with power upper and heat?
  12. ... do our trucks (mines a 24 custom) come with the harness already up there? I was under the assumption they did not after looking at how boostauto does theirs.
  13. "Perforated Leather" type black on black? I really need to get a set of seat covers for my 2500.
  14. By chance can anyone dig up part numbers for said parts?
  15. Man, I was hopin someone would dig into that. Good to know it all swaps over. I had my suspicions that it did.
  16. I think one thing that should be stated with everyone having problems is trim level. Custom/WT gets a different radio setup that high trim packages. May be a difference? Mines a custom. I've had it freak out with car play once. Had to delete my phone and start fresh again.
  17. Must be a diesel thing. My L8T/10spd rarely hunts gears, a lot of times if it wasn't for the change in exhaust tone I wouldn't know it even shifted. Only thing I really noticed was a rough shift here and there in the first couple thousand miles as it learned. I'd say it's learned quite well, I have a blast driving it, keeps the ole "six six" gas in its torque range. I recently had to drive my wifes Tahoe (good ole 4L60E) and was almost disgusted with how it drove.
  18. How tall is the rear lift block? 1.5"?
  19. For the brake lights, looks like these trucks use a 7443/7444. Lasfit makes them, their website won't show them as compatible for some reason. Is there something with the 2024s that you can't swap the the tail light bulbs to LED? I know its CAN bus, but a resistor takes care of that. Does anyone have a list of the bulb part numbers for each spot on our trucks?
  20. Check with Boost Auto Parts, they have aftermarket ones that they made an actual template for, they mine give you a copy.
  21. I had mine act weird one day, got extremely laggy and kind soft locked. (base, 7 or 8" (whatever it is) radio. Only thing of note that day was the interior had gotten pretty hot while parked, maybe something got to hot inside the dash.
  22. Some of us like the ~$20 replacement bulbs instead of a ~$1000 assembly when it dies. Now not running an easily replaceable LED bulb in the brake/reverse/turn signals is an argument.
  23. I done something recently on my 24 as well. Pioneers speakers too. It seems no one makes the adapters for the dash speakers, ended up splicing and soldering mine. It made a noticeable difference, next down the road will be an amp tied into the factory harness.
  24. For anyone concerned. 84991144
