I know, right? I did a chat session on Chevy.com and she said to keep checking but they have no info. I informed her the trucks are on the lots and she responded with "is there anything else I can help you with?"

2019 Silverado LT TrailBoss

GM has referred to the 18s as 33s too, in videos. They would look so much better with even a 275/70r18. I wish all the trucks had lower offset wheels. Another 8-10mm would have gone a long way.- 76 replies

First Drive Review: 2019 Chevy Silverado
shift_grind replied to Zane's topic in Article & Review Archive (Pre-2019)
That's the main attraction for chrome bumpers. Otherwise I prefer painted. I don't think the upper and lower inserts being the black ones they use on the LT / RST models would wear though.- 83 replies

Love that truck. I would have to turn down the chrome a little though. I'd like to see it with the LT grill.- 83 replies

2019 Silverado LT TrailBoss
shift_grind replied to Cmillerjr's topic in 2019-2026 Silverado 1500 & Sierra 1500
Ford did more updates from 17 to 18 than GM did from 15-16. Headlights, grill, taillights even the tailgate. I'm not really sure what point you're getting at with the rest of it.- 76 replies

Gmfleetorderguide.com. They have shown 24 gallons for sometime under specifications/Capacity. But I heard some of the reviews mention 26 gallons. A vehicle made to focus on towing needs a bigger tank.

Ford all new in 2015, update in 2018. That completely conflicts with your statement.- 76 replies

I was referring to Ford

That's for a 2018. 2019 reports to be 24 gallons. 24 is probably ok if you don't tow. Towing you have a 300 or less mile range.
-
But they have an optional larger tank. The only excuse to go from 26 to 24 is to offer a larger one. I'd rather they just put a 28 in all of them. That's the perfect size in my opinion.

It's odd for sure. I think the idea behind the embargo is to let all reviewer's get some good seat time and not feel rushed to have thr first review out. I have seen it on other cars from GM. They're at dealerships with no window stickers. I assume the configuration page for the public will be online Monday. In pretty excited overall. I'd still be happy with a 16-18 Sierra SLT too, but I think I'll wait for a 19 Rado.

I don't think they'll ever make a truck as bad as the 07-13s again. They didn't have any money then and wrte about to go bankrupt.

2019 Transmission and Axle Ratios
shift_grind replied to HondaHawkGT's topic in 2019-2026 Silverado 1500 & Sierra 1500
Look up. Way up there is the point. Yup, it went waaaay over your head. I promise the difference between 3.23 and 3.73 is very noticeable regardless of the transmission. You're clearly not a real car guy who had any working knowledge, so let the adults talk. -

Ugh. I'm done with this topic. I'm tired of shaking my head when I read your responses that are exxagerations, incorrect or stretched truths. I'll add only one thing since it's something new you brought up. People had complained about not being able to run 33s on stock trucks and when they unveiled these they talked about letting customers run 33s without a lift and the lifted Trailboss being able to run 35s. Ironic that they brought this up but you can't even get 3.42s with the truck they designed to run 35s. -

shift_grind replied to HondaHawkGT's topic in 2019-2026 Silverado 1500 & Sierra 1500
People expressing their disappointment with how GM is packaging their trucks is a tantrum? Wow. How else would the manufacturer know where they messed up or what their customers want to see changed? Do you really think that no one at GM goes out and looks at forums like this? I promise you they do. The other thread was full if misinformation and half truths, but a lot of it came from you. I can't figure out if you are such a fanboy you just accept everything they tell you is the best or if you're so self absorbed you can't or won't consider that someone may have different wants or needs than you. -

The info was in the last thread as well, there was no reason to start a new thread except there was a lot of mis-information and incorrect facts. New slate I suppose.
