  1. I have a 2023 with the 360 view. Anyone know what happens if you lift it 3.5”? I have done the factory 2” lift on another truck and with it they “adjust” the cameras. Anyone know what they do? I would like a little more than the 2” llft but worried it will mess up the 360 surround cameras.
  2. I have a 2022 new refresh sierra Duramax that had water get into somewhere it wasn't supposed to be and fried some wire. "according to gmc service department" I think he said inter cooler but wasn't forthcoming with info. Said it couldn't be driven and that GMC wanted the bad parts to determine what happened. Assuming this is normal. They said the parts are on back order, its been 2 weeks. Has anyone had a similar experience with back ordered parts? How long did it take and what is a reasonable time to wait? I called and checked again today and they had no update, just parts are on back order. They offered me a mid-sized sedan as a loaner but I need a truck for my job so i declined and borrowed my Dad's truck. He wants it back, should they give me a loaner of like size?
  3. I think you are right, 2 dealerships said it wasn’t needed and 1 said I would need to change the leaf springs. All have checked with VIN. I looked and I believe mine are composite. The one dealer who said new leaf springs would be needed must have old info.
  4. My dealer quoted me the lift plus the steel sprigs as I have composite now. I’m sure someone else has pointed this out but just in case I’m posting.
  5. I am assuming that means rougher ride at high speed bumps. thnx
  6. I would like to have the factory lift added to my 2020 Sierra 1500 Elevation. I spoke with the dealership and they said GM has them replacing the rear springs in additional to the lift. Has anyone done this and can speak to if it changed their ride quality? Parts guy said the elevation has weaker springs? I would like to do the factory lift vs aftermarket to avoid voiding the warranty. Thnx
