I tried to push this Acura tsx out of my snowy driveway and traction control was not letting the wheels spin and I couldn't shut it off, there is only a button that says VSC to something like that but it would not turn off.... Had to pull it out

thats not a bad idea... i wouldnt own a diesel if i didnt have a econo car as a DD. i dont have any issues with the vibration problems.. you also have to remember that the people complaining on a forum about specific problems is only a very small percentage of the people who own those vehicles. i have not heard of any 14's with the issue. only 13's down. also, obviously make sure you bring the truck up to 60-80 on the test drive to be sure it dosent have it. the only difference is leaf springs... no reason to get the 3500 with a stiffer ride unless your actually towing 10k plus. you should be able to get a killer deal on a loaded up 14 when the 15's come out... just like the 14' 1500's, you wont be able to get even an OK deal for a long time..

good choice... are you looking to get a 13' or a 14' 2500? if you could wait a few more months you should be able to get a killer deal on a 900 2500.

i have the same issue with my GMT900 2500... the back up camera resolution is very poor...

the 03 plus trucks are way better looking, and like chris said the little upgrades are worth it

i had GMT800's and i traded one in and am selling the other one.. it seemed like every other week i was putting money into it whether it was a water pump or resistor for the fan blower..then i noticed rust forming on the lower rockers so that was the final straw. I made sure to put way more then half down on a new truck so my payment is small.. couldnt be happier

i do anywhere from 600 to 1000 a week... i have car that i use as my DD... the money i save in fuel pays for the car.. i get about 40mpg on the highway

the tow mirrors do not come in power extend or power fold. you can get them power with heat (only if you have the heated mirror option), but beware that you have to get 03-06 mirrors. 99-02 mirrors or GMT900 mirrors will not work. did a quick google and came up with this http://www.monsterautoparts.com/chevrolet/avalanch/chevrolet_avalanche_towing_mirrors.htm
