  1. sorry I dont feel like reading through this entire thread, but the 19+ trucks you cannot shut the "auto-stop" off at all? is that standard on all engine options? that is absurd.. I have a C class that I can hit a button and it shuts off.
  2. Well the post is from 2011 so I would hope that he figured it out by now
  3. I have a 2019 Sprinter with a 3.0 diesel, from what I have heard it is similar to other 3.0 diesels. its my first smaller displacement diesel, I have been able to spend time driving and hauling with. It drives very nice but it is in no way fast. phenomenal torque great for towing/hauling/MPG. but I would take a 5.3 or preferably a 6.2 in a personal pickup, no doubt.
  4. if you are looking for a beefy tire, the Nitto Ridge Grappler are really good tires, aggressive tread pattern and look great while not having the annoyances of the Toyo MT's. Terra Grapplers are great tires as well.
  5. I think it would be a good option for a Denali level truck as it is an enjoyable option and to be competitive with the other top 2. I have a pano on my mercedes and it already has been completely replaced only (1 year old at the time) once since it fell off the track somehow.. really enjoyable to have though. On a truck I personally have no desire for a glass roof.
  6. I agree with this as well, I dont know GM couldn't put at least a percentage meter for the DEF fluid
  7. Enjoying following this thread! Good luck with the rockers!
  8. I didn't think I would enjoy push button start but the car I have has it and I love it, you never have to take the key out of your pocket. Also to the OP, I don't think I would mess with an aftermarket push button start, that's just asking for issues down the road!
  9. I just bought my first black vehicle and I will never do it again. After 10k miles it already dosent look great and needs and full paint correction and it's never been through a car wash and only washed by hand by me.
  10. Looks great, I need to stay away from this thread because I'm very close to upgrading mine! Just don't feeling like tuning and deleting again!
  11. Silver is hands down the easier color to keep clean and it hides scratches extremely well, I have 4 silver vans
  12. I like the look lifted too, it's just hard enough to drive or lift a 4 wheeler in the bed as is!
  13. Makes sense, I justified the coin for leveling because I have 0 desire for any more height then a leveling kit! You should be able to get an inch or 2 by just cranking the keys, just make sure the UCA's aren't to close to the bumpstop
  14. If you are going to level it I would check out this.. http://bds-suspension.com/blog/?p=12050 That is the best way to level these trucks IMO. I had shock extenders and 3inch keys in mine but the ride wasn't great, it was much improved after the fox 2.0s and the stage 4 cognitio and a pitman and idler support. The coilover kit came out shortly after I dumped 2k for the cognito
  15. let me know if you plan a trip, I thought I knew everywhere to ride in PA!
  16. haven't driven the duramax in about 2 months, gonna pull it out tomorrow to do fuel filter, trans filter, FASS filters, maybe install the sump I've had sitting around
  17. What bulbs did you use? I have been meaning to look into this. Backing up at night is brutal with my tint plus the stock "fireflies"
  18. You will not regret it! The tow haul/exhaust brake is phenominal for towing,
  19. Read his post wrong thought he said WOULDNT cause tire wear my bad
  20. Weight In the bed should help smooth it out a bit. It's naturally going to be bumpy, it is a light 2WD truck and has a very short wheelbase. Also could air down the tires a few PSI, may help a bit.
  21. Started receiving pieces for my front end rebuild for the LML, bilstein steering stabilizer came today should have congnito stage 4 with fox shocks front and rear by the end of the week. And congnito tie rods
  22. I prefer having An open console without a shifter in it.. It doesn't take up any space on the column... Leave it there.
  23. you can google "ball joint affecting tire wear" and look at every article. I have a fleet of Econolines which eat balljoint, when they get worn out it tears up the tires.
  24. I don't know what alignment shop you heard that from but that's Definitely not true at all
