  1. Does anyone make a plug and play LED bulb for a 2016 Chevy 2500HD. Locking to convert the high, low, and fog beams over to LED? The stock stuff is just not bright enough.
  2. Does anyone have experience running the Nokian hakkapeliitta lt3 on a heavy duty truck? I'm going to need a new set of studded snow tires for plowing next year and i'm wondering how these perform, specifically in slush and deep snow.
  3. What are the new 6.6 gases using for motor oil? Did they stick with 5w 30?
  4. Thanks for the replies, I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. $1,200 is a big gamble
  5. How are they on the blacktop at highway speeds?
  6. You guys haven't noticed them to be squirmish on your heavy duty trucks, like some people have reported?
  7. What does everyone think of their Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires. Thinking of getting a for my 2500 and wondering how they hold up? Has anyone noticed any issues with hauling or Towing heavy loads? I hear these can be a little bit squirmy due to the soft rubber compound. Looking at 275 70 18 e load
  8. Nothing wrong with changing it early, oil is cheap, engines are expensive
  9. What type of Muffler setup are you running?also Is it a single in and out or a single in and dual out?
  10. Interesting, I was not aware that the factory Muffler was only a 3 in
  11. Does anyone know of any negative side effects from reducing the muffler and tailpipe size from 3.5 in down to 3 in. On a 6.0 gm. I'm considering a different Muffler and tailpipe. From the muffler Inlet back to the bumper it would be 3in rather than 3.5. I have started communication with another member who has done this, just wondering if anyone else has experience with this. I have heard mixed reviews that this could reduce low end torque or create flat spots in the powerband under acceleration
  12. I just recently put a set of Bilstein 5100s on my truck. I couldn't be happier with them. Significant improvement over the stock Rancho shock
  13. I just saw this and I'm sure you already have your answer. I have a 2016 2500 HD with a boss super duty straight blade trip Edge. My truck is leveled and I have a significant amount of ballast in the rear end of the bed up against the tailgate. The center hole of my push beam height is around 18 in with my winter tires on. I haven't had any issues with additional tripping as a result of the increased height
  14. Check out the Mastercraft axt, cxt, and the Cooper AT3 line.
  15. Winter mode, 8 foot Boss super duty trip Edge, midnight edition winter Wheels, Mastercraft courser MSR studded 265 70 18.
  16. Anyone have any experience with the new dick cepek Trail country exp? Looks like a pretty good hybrid all terrain. Made by Mastercraft / Cooper.
  17. For plowing I run nothing but dedicated studded snow tires. My current go-to is the Mastercraft courser MSR studded
  18. On my last truck I removed the bumpers and had them sprayed with color match Line-X, don't know anyone who has done the powder coat though
  19. I run the Mastercraft courser MSR dedicated snow tire for plowing. Excellent snow tire!
  20. Thanks, I absolutely love the Mastercraft cxt. It's definitely a noisy Tire going down the road. But who the hell cares it's a truck. lol I run the Mastercraft courser MSR studded in the winter time for plowing and have had great success with that as well. I'm a big fan of their tires
  21. 2016 2500hd z71 custom sport edition. Dechromed, leveled, XD addict summer Wheels. 275 70 18 Mastercraft cxt Tires. Midnight Edition Wheels with studded snows for the winter
  22. I have owned two of the current body style. A 2015 double cab, and a 2016 crew cab. Drove the 2015 for about 25,000 miles and currently have 15000 on the 2016. No vibration issues at all
  23. Just turned 15,000 miles on my 2500 HD 6.0. Been changing my oil every 3000 miles since new,. I always use a full synthetic such as ACDelco full synthetic, or house Brands like O'Reilly, Napa, Carquest, or Federated. My filter of choice has been an oem pf48. I often notice my oil life is only around 50% at 3,000 miles. My question is, are my old school ways throwing money away? Should I trust the oil life and go down to 15%? Or start changing every 5000 miles.? What are you guys doing with your 6.0s. I do some light snow plowing in the winter, only one or two driveways,, other than that the truck doesn't really get worked hard
