    Spare Automotive Parts in the US is the name of the online market place business. Was interested in 2 black doors for my 95 sierra. Quoted me 320 delivered to my door. By the way I'm in Canada. Sounds to good to be true. But when I asked about additional pics of the bottom of the doors were the seam is. I got nothing but push back. Wouldn't give me a business address or anything else official. Anyone else had run in with this business?? Or success with them?

    Put it up on the lift today to change oil, looking around the underside and notice something odd looking along the gas tank. Poked around with a screwdriver and poked a hole right through it. 6in long on the inside along the bottom. Looks like I'll be buying a frame section and welding it in. Safe-t-cap sells all different frame sections. Not impressed, even after all the under coating I've put on all these years 14 to be exact. This sucks.

    I've searched high and low and none of the decals look like the Z71 off road i have on my 95 Sierra. Want to replace it with the same after I paint the truck. Anyone else recognize it???

    Put on new brakes rotor and pads all around, and painted the calipers and brackets. Used VHT spray paint for the brackets, and Dupont paint, brush on kit for the calipers. Turned out alright.

    Lowered my truck this weekend. Used belltech lowering struts and lowering shackles out back with the block removed. Still has just enough bias to the rear so I can put some weight in the back or tow my trailer without having the rear sagging.

    So what do you use the MEK for? I use it at work to flush my paint lines and gun.

    The pics don't do the tires much justice. Looks much better in person. There the same diameter as my old 275 55 20 's just wider. Ya the weather turns quick around here too. But couldn't wait anymore. So far so good here just cool and no more snow in the forecast and it's all melted too. Your plow truck needs a good power wash and your all good. LoL

    Went ahead and installed my summer rims and Tires. Also have the new rubber on. 295 50 20 General UHPs. Stock height and zero rubbing lock to lock.

    Changed the transmission oil and filter along with a small flush. Magnet had a bunch of grayish muck attached to it hope that's normal. Love having headers. I was able to remove the whole pan with no problems. Just unbolted the y-pipe.

    Today I freed up my wipers by installing grease nipples into the aluminum housing where the actual wipers attach to the shaft coming up through the plastic cowl. Took about an hour total and now they work like new again. Yesterday during a rain storm the wipers would barely keep up and once stalled out. Not fun at all.

    All cleaned up and no place to go. Just put the summer wheels and tires back on and a quick wash and detail.

    Today I put my summer rims and tires on, installed the Swing Box (tool box) and put on my replacement header on the driver side from ARH. Oh and of course I washed it.

    Had to replace the original battery in my truck, it's been turning over slower and slower these past few days. I figure it's about time anyhow, I got 6yrs out of it. Replaced it with a Interstate Mega Tron 730cca. Comes with a 7yr warranty. 1st 2yrs full replacement and 5yrs pro rated. It's amazing how you really don't notice how the old battery is losing power, till you hook up the new one and it spins over like a button on a shit house door.

    I got lucky, a guy at work bought a 2011 silverado the same color graphite black and didn't want the cap. Got it for 900 bucks.

    Go for the Silverado, they hold there value better then a similar optioned ford.

    I over loaded the heck out of my 1/2 truck. 2870 Lbs of concrete landscape blocks. Only had to drive 1.5miles to get home from the garden center. Defiantly won't be doing that again.

    That is an awesome build!! Hope you have the Auto-4WD cause that's probably the only way you'll get any traction if your hard on it from a stop. I agree, GM should have built a SBRC 6.2.

    Don't like the front end at all. I prefer the 5th gen much better. And a 4cyl turbo... come on really?
