  1. Im pretty sure there is a law that states a company cannot have a monopoly on a certain fluid, or something to that effect. Just like they cannot say you have to use a certain oil, they can say it must meet such and such guidlines, like dexosD, but cannot say you must use acdelco or whatever oil. 2. I love my 3.0 dmax, towed a trailer around town yesterday, about 4000 lbs, was like nothing, waaaaay better than my 14 with a 5.3. Love that i get nearly 30mpg on road trips, and love all the bottom end this thing has, and the 10 speed is amazing. If you plan to do bigger tires, id try to find one with the off road package that comes with 3.73 gearing. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  3. Fyi if you got paint on the rotors it can cause squeaking because it embeds in th pad. When i worked at Les Schwab we used to paint calipers any time we put custom wheels on and the would come back all the time with squeaking brakes Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  4. What was ruined on the axles? The cv joint itself? Reason i ask is people are doing 4" ready lift sst kits and from what i can see is they dont drop the diff so the cv axle would be at far worse angle. I too ordered a motofab 2.5" front kit and have some 2.5" blocks for the rear. My truck is pretty level so im doing equal lift front and rear Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

  7. But the 6.2 works fine with the 6 speed right Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  8. Buy a blower for it Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  9. True, this isnt my thread but just saying. I have the 5.3 in my truck and the 6.2 in my yukon, the yukon has noticably more power. And you will lose little to no reliability with a 6.2 swap Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  10. Cheaper maybe, but probably less reliable if you do much towing Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  11. I may be wrong, but you may be able to just tune the l83 ecu for the l86. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  12. Regear to at least 4.56 Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  13. The camera in my wifes 17 denali is way better than my 14 silverado. Makes me think i need to replace my camera Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  14. Looking for a 1.5 or 2" level kit for my wifes yukon denali, anything available for the magniride? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  15. My denali has the same cut and mine came with captain chairs, im just covering mine with floor mats as well Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. Ya mine is like this on our 17 denali, kinda disappointed gm left it unfinished like this Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  17. I highly doubt gm installed heavier springs for a plow as that would be an extremely limited group of customers. When you installed the 5100 struts did you have them setup for stock height or did you set them up to level it? Because if you leveled you are basically preloading that spring more to create lift but that is also going to stiffen the ride. I dont think anyone makes a softer spring.
  18. Fwiw, i worked at a tire shop for 5 years, then went on to work for a gm dealer for a few years as an auto tech. Your running too much pressure in those tires. Just run what factory recomends, i run 35 psi in my load e tires. And go to about 50 in rear when towing. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
