This is the kit I used to keep the dust out of my bed during hunting season. https://www.accesscover.com/access-total-bed-seal/ It works pretty good. The tailgate seal alone didn't keep the dust out. The foam blocks in this kit helped a ton. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

What have you done to your K2 today?

So I eneded up getting it wrapped again. Got inspiration from a Google search pic that I included in this post. Pretty sure the owner is a member of the forum. Went wider with the stripes and to the edge of the hood. I think it turned out great. I also had the hood ceramic coated so they say it should last up to 4-5 yrs now. Took the wrap off my hood because it started to deteriorate. Lasted about 2.5 yrs in the Texas Sun. I'm not a fan of the all white. It doesn't show off the curves of the hood very well.... Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
I had an opposite effect when I adding a leaf to my 7 inch lift to get some rake back. Made it seem stiffer. Just taller blocks rode better. The extra leaf was cheaper than blocks. I could see the install costing more though because its a pain to do. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Getting dealer to program external keypad
huntr1117 replied to ~~AAJakeleg's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
Its going to be sad when the battery dies. I use it almost daily. Dealer said batteries can't be replaced. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
Getting dealer to program external keypad

I think it only works for 17 and up. I could be wrong though. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
I'm happy with the light output of the single row. It throws light further than my high beams. I have it on the same switch as my a-pillar lights so when they're all on at the same time there is a lot of light. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Getting dealer to program external keypad

Hasn't moved. Works exactly the same as the day I put it on. I was worried about the the sun beating down on it, but it hasn't caused any issues. I think it's been on there since September of 2016. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
I went with the GM switch that has the offroad switch with it. Used it with the harness from pgamboa. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

No problems at all. Shutters open and close without any issues. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

I'd try rough countrys vertex coilovers. I'm pretty sure they'll fit your lift and they're only $1000. It's gotta be cheaper than labor and trying to source parts to unlift your truck. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Double check your wiring. Same thing happened to me. I emailed rigid and they sent me an rma # to send them back in. When I went to take them out I double checked my wiring. I must have forgotten how lazy I was when I installed them because I used butt connectors and was going to soder later. Turns out that one of my grounds was bad. Rewired everything with soder and heat shrink. They work great again. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

I the wiring is easy, just time consuming. If you're going to use the oem offroad light switch then you'll need this harness from pgamboa https://harnessdr.com/product/off-road-light-headlight-switch-bcm-harness/ and the switch itself. Follow this YouTube video and it will explain the entire process. I used this harness off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076C5HV59/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_FQQuEb0DCKXNY It comes with a pigtail that you can soder onto the lightbar wires so you'll have a watertight connection. You will notice that in the video above his trigger wire for the relay is blue. On this harness it's not blue. I'll double check mine later to confirm what color the trigger wire is. That's pretty much it. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
