I never towed anything once I leveled it out. In fact, I removed it one day later. I didn't know if anything negative will happen when towing. I really don't think it should. I'm also not sure how the mag ride in the rear will react to a load. Maybe someone who knows can chime in. The lift spacer sits on top of the strut, so the shock isn't affected. There is a plate on the lower A-arm that connects the sensor arm. This is shimmed up to compensate for the lift spacer to maintain the same upper sensor lever arm geometry. And by the way, when I measured post-level, the rear end somehow went up 1/4". Call me crazy, but I measured pre and post level twice. My level kit is for sale for $100 shipped.

I removed the level kit this morning. Up for grabs to anyone for $140 shipped. It just doesn't look right with my 22" wheels. 20's would look better.

Got home and measured it out. Turns out they went up 2.25" opposed to the 2 I requested. Wish people would just do what they're asked instead of using what they had. I dislike the Cali lean. It's not too noticeable in my posted pic bc of the slope of the parking lot. This is my luck. Never right the first time. Anyone know what size blocks will offset the look?

Well, here it is. And not one bit of information I can give you about how they did it. They wouldn't let me in the shop. All I know is that it rides the same as before I brought it in and I have no dash lights on.

I have an appt Friday morning at FTS for a 2" level install. Will post install pics if they let me back there to watch.

Spoke to Full Throttle Suspension yesterday. They're in my town. They claim their 2" level kit only requires manipulating the sensors a bit. From all of Dangerousdick's info and posts about this topic, I'm not sure I fully believe FTS.(even though this is their business) They would install it for me for $300, parts and labor. Very tempted to "try" it.

We don't entirely know that to be true yet as there isn't a 2.5" level kit for mag ride. The mag shocks may work more to make it smooth. Just a guess tho.

Nice find. I don't like the language..."which will help keep the stock quality ride". That implies to me that the ride won't be exactly the same. I think there's more owners out there interested in leveling the front end over raising it above 2 or 2.5", but I may be wrong. At least somebody is working on it. Welcome to the board. I'm an x Avlanche owner as well...or as they were referred to...Tupperware Truck and Crashalanche

I couldn't believe my ears when the parts guy told me how much they cost. I was ready for $5, not $12. I thought to myself, GM seems to have adopted European car parts pricing...a$$h@les!

Don't break those plastic stop light retainer clips. $12 a pop Don't ask how I know.
-
And therein lies the problem. Isn't anything that accomplishes this for a 2.5" level kit.
-
hey dangerousdick...did they/you relocate your sensors the same distance down as how many inches you lifted your truck up? Can you get a pic of the bracket used? That would give me an idea. Thinking I can get something fab'd so us poor Magna Ride guys can look cool too with a level kit.
-
I hope one of these companies is hard at work figuring out a way to level Mag ride trucks. There prob isn't a rush bc the market is pretty small at this point.
-
Where did you get the parts necessary for this? I suspect 1" isn't going to throw anything out of tolerance as far as the Mag Ride is concerned, that's prob why it rides the same. Hard to believe 1" will make it almost level though.
