  1. Has anybody taken delivery of a new truck that appears to be put through an automatic car wash with brushes? Does GM wash vehicles before transit or anytime before dealer? I requested dealer hand wash my truck upon delivery and before picking up. They have a touchless onsite but still hand washed. I know my black truck will slowly acquire spider swirls just didn’t want to start off swirled.
  2. If dealer has allotment are they any constraints for ordering 2025 GMC Denali HD? Thanks
  3. I learned my sensors close to the truck individually because I wanted to see how they worked. Labeled them then installed on trailer later. My biggest problem was the stems were too small and had to install in wheel with large band clamp. Second thing was they only read up to 102 psi and my tires are at 110. I occasionally lose communication with one or two but they come back. All of that said I still use my TST system as I trust it and already own it. Hope that helps.
  4. I took mine to the dealer yesterday and got the update. My two biggest complaints are when I re enter and start my truck the radio will work for 30 or so seconds then go muted. I will change inputs or xm stations and comes back on. Then go back to the station I was on. Also the volume on the ringer on the phone being reduced when connected to Bluetooth. Neither of those were fixed with the update. I can also tell you the text messaging is still not available when Bluetooth connected just when connected with cable thru apple car play. For the features I use, the update did nothing. Maybe I will find something else as I go along.
  5. I use a B&W Companion with the puck system. The gooseneck ball is placed two inches behind the axle. However using the pucks with my B&W the pivot point is directly over the axle. Most new campers allow for better turning radius with curved fronts and extended king pins. I still watch very close as I could put my camper into the cab especially backing up and jack knifing. .
  6. The ones I bought on eBay work temp and pressure. Also appear to look exactly the same. I do have one that is slower to connect and have to drive some to get it to work. It also will stop connecting for a minute But starts again quickly. They were somewhat difficult to learn once on the trailer. However I had synced them when I first got them to test from in the cab. I ended up using that trailer profile instead of a new one. Two complaints is they only go up to 102 psi. My tires require 110. Also had to use the band clamp ford method in wheel as my trailer wheels had larger valve stems than what GM supplies.
  7. Trailer is 39’. The TST with booster is what i am replacing also. Want to eliminate the additional screen once i have confidence in them.
  8. I tried the air pressure method and rotating with tool. Without success. However since i had tested them before instal i had a trailer profile with them synced. I had to drive about a mile for them to start working but they did. Only problem now is i made the assumption learning wouldn’t be difficult and don’t know the correct location of sensor. I will get that figured out by letting air out again, watching display and moving tire and wheel. They all read 102 psi like you said but i am getting happier. Thanks for your help.
  9. Does the rotating activate them like the older sensors? I will try it tomorrow.
  10. I got everything installed similar to yours. I am having a tough time getting them to learn with the inexpensive tool I have. I know everything works as I test synced when I got them. However I wonder since the sensor is inside the rim and tire if I should have synced them when wheel is broke down. Or if there is a difference in learning tools. Let me know how you did yours. Thanks.
  11. Do the sensors work up to the required 110psi?
  12. One other thing I think I notice is along with the higher rear end gears contributing to coasting easier is that the transmission seems to shift to higher gears all the time when not accelerating. I am sure this helps with mpg when not towing but my 2016 LML seemed to stay in a lower gear and stayed in the power/torque band longer regardless of speed. Always around 1,300 to 1,600 rpm. Thus when letting off accelerator truck would quickly slow. Again not bad just different.
  13. I suspect you are correct. I hadn’t thought of that. I was stuck in thinking the ten speed must be geared higher and allowing more coasting.
  14. Has anyone else felt that the truck with the ten speed coasts a lot easier? My 2016 LML with six speed would slow down much faster without brake. I now need to apply brake much more when approaching stopped traffic or stop sign. Not all bad just different than what I’m used to. Exhaust brake doesn’t seem to affect it either.

  16. My 2016 2500 HD Denali has had sloppy steering since day one. Was just going to live with it. Then it started leaking and I found this topic and tab. Took a week to get it in, but 2.5 hours later it drives as good as my 2014 1500. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Back at dealer out of bumper to bumper. They report different issue, this time the seat track. Service manager is going to cover it. Sure saved a big debate!
  18. My seat shift has slowly began again. After being rock solid after fix in May, ten months later it is moving. Tried putting clamps back on without success. Was told that even off Warrentee now I have 12 months from fix to bring it back. Will wait another month and take it in.
  19. Can you tell me more about the head light upgrade? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. You are correct no dealer fix yet. If you are like me you and your butt will get tired of it and you resort to the clamp fix. You will also be surprised how much your mental health improves once you stop anticipating the movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It has been ten days or so since I did the clamp trick. Works great for me!! I have moved it two or three inches but not to extremes. Don't want to mess it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. One day into trying Hotrodz fix. So far so good. Now that it's fixed I find myself anticipating it popping and moving. Thanks Hotrodz!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Do you have an update on the seat issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Until they get a good fix I think I will live with mine moving and popping. The thing that drives me crazy is the inconvenience of taking it in and waiting three hours for it not to be fixed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Here's my 2014 SLT 6.2 and my 2011 SLT 6.2. Got tired of waiting for my max tow 6.2. Love it so far.
