I have a Trail Boss, coming from a 2015 2500HD High Country and a 2014 1500 LTZ. The Trail Boss has a better ride than either of the two.

It’s an update that came out for Silverados and Equinox’s too.

There is a guy on the Facebook page that has a Trail Boss with 295/70R18’s on stock wheels with no rub. I don’t want to take all of his pics he posted but here is one of them.

If they wouldn’t have had my Trail Boss on the lot, with a sunroof, I would probably have went with a GMC this time. Or at least entertained the idea.

I just checked mine and it’s even on both sides. I put a level on both the tailgate and the back of the bed, both are dead on.

It did, it was of and on. Sometimes it was worse than others. Sometimes I’d go a few days with nothing.

I had a LineX in my 14’ and factory liners in my 15’ and 19’. To be honest the quality and durability seems to be the same to me. Having the Bowtie logo in the back of the bed is a bonus. A couple things to note on the 2019. The tailgate is not sprayed. It has a textured tailgate liner, similar to the WeatherTech Tech Liner. Also I had an issue with overspray of the liner on my bedside and back of the cab. It came off fairly easy since it was a painted surface.

No shit, I didn’t know it automatically closed too! I wonder if that is only on the High Country model. I have a Trail Boss, I’ll have to try i it when I get home.

Nice looking truck. I sure would like to have one of those Black DARE plates. The new ones are too plain.

When I first got mine, it did the same thing. Especially when rolling to a stop. I took it to the dealer with 250 miles, .there was no TSB, the said it may just be the transmission learning and may go away. Sure enough, I’m a little over 1900 miles and it’s gone. It hasn’t done it for the last 1200 miles or so.

Very true, I suppose that if it is something that is not fixable, once you get into the routine of not throwing it into reverse as fast as normal it will definitely be something that is manageable. I have a good friend that is a mechanic at the dodge dealership near me. He said that there are so many issues with the Rams that they have him working exclusively on them and nothing else.

There is nothing in the radio that I see, that would allow an additional camera.

Mine is fairly level from the factory.

I never had this problem in my High Country or truck prior to that. I’m guessing they used a cheaper model camera that takes more time to boot up. Like the time it takes for a cheap tv vs a good tv to turn on. Very disappointing for a $60K truck.

Yep, that’s exactly what mine does. To my knowledge there still isn’t a fix yet.

I have them in mine too. I agree they look great. I don’t know if they will hold as much “slush slop” as the weathertech liners do. Either way I think they will do a fine job. Did id you have to trim the rear for the cargo box to fit correctly? Mine came installed from the factory and I had to do some trimming to make the rear mat fit under the cargo box better.

Took advantage of a beautiful Sunday and cleaned her up a bit!

I stopped at the dealer yesterday to check and there is nothing available yet. I asked if when available if it could be downloaded automatically and they weren’t sure. They said they thought the automatic update was for non-functional updates like for a carrier or signal.

What size tires are those? Any suspension modifications or is it the stock TrailBoss suspension?

A friend of mine works at my local dealer and I had him check for a TSB. He said it says GM is aware of the condition, no correction as of yet. Engineering is working on a software fix.

Having a couple problems with the radio unit. First, a handful of times now when I shift into reverse, the camera activates but it’s like looking out of a bubble. If I put it into park and back to reverse it returns to normal. Second, this has only once, but last night I couldn’t get any sound out of the unit. No music, no sound from my phone (music or calls) wired or Bluetooth. I tried cycling the power on the radio, turning the truck off and back on, still no luck. After an extended period of time being turned off 1-2 hours, everything was back to normal. Im hoping there is a simple update that can be done.
