    Looking for some input on BFG K02’s on 3/4 ton trucks. Some people say that they are great, some say that they are junk. I like the aggressive look. 80% of my driving is on paved roads. Some light off-road for hunting. I live in PA, so I see mild snow in the winter. I tow a 7k travel trailer, about 2500 miles a year. Looking for some real life mileage results.

    2020 2500 HD LTZ Z71, LTZ Premium Package. I have them on the front and rear doors, both drivers and passenger side.

    I took mine in to have the brakes replaced. They are covered, but the dealer said the pads are on backorder.

    Mine is a LTZ, and it makes all kinds of noises. Sort of a whine, but also sounds like it’s sucking fluid. No physical issues driving, just the sound.

    Not with my HD, but I had a 2019 Trail Boss that had paint defects in the hood. The dealer took care of it. I also work with a guy that had some clear coat issues on his 2017 Denali. He ended up getting 10k over trade value towards a new truck.

    Thanks all for the useful comments. The others driving junk must not appreciate nice things. Anyway, the dealer is taking care of having the defects wheels polished out. They originally said that the wheels were clear coated and couldn’t be polished without refinishing the wheel. However I guess that’s not the case. It goes this week to get fixed.

    Not sure if your being sarcastic or not when you buy something new, you expect it to be free of any damage. If I scratch it that’s fine, but it shouldn’t come that way.

    The claim through GM has been denied a second time. States it’s not a manufacturer defect. The dealer is supposed to reach out to their local rep, to get approval.

    Definitely not curb rash. Looks precise, like a tire machine. Which would have been done at the factory.

    I had a 2015 2500 HD High Country gas, paid 53k. Traded it in in 2019 and got 47k for it.

    I bought a new LTZ, with the 20” aluminum wheels. 3 of the 4 are damaged, and was documented by the dealer when I bought the truck. The dealer sent the pics into GM and they denied the warranty claim, basically saying it isn’t their problem. The dealer is now reaching out to their local GM rep. A $65k truck bought new you expect to be flawless. Has anyone dealt with GM denying a claim? Any luck escalating beyond GM customer assistance?

    I’m not a fan, I keep the brightness at the lowest setting so I can’t see it.

    I ended up getting the soft trifold from the American Tonneau company. Looks great, American made, pretty good seal. Allows the auto up/down tailgate to work properly.

    I bought mine early on, there were no kits specifically for the Trail Boss. So yeah it’s just the standard kit. I’ve had it installed for over 10k miles, no issues.

    They said that I’d have to contact Goodyear to get them warrantied. That was a directive from GM. I ended up selling them.

    No spacer, just the 1.5” motofab leveling kit. No rubbing at all, even at full lock.

    Around town I’m getting 14 and 18 on the highway, that’s with the larger, heavier tires and leveling kit. I was seeing 16/20 stock. I took a three hour trip to Harrisburg and peaked at 28.2.

    Absolutely, the only time I’m off road is during hunting season. I’m on the highway 75% of the time. I’m in Pittsburgh so we don’t see 2 feet of snow, but never had an issue in 6 inches or so.

    I love them. Minimal to no road noise, great in wet/snow/mud, even wear and great mileage. I rotate every 5-6k miles. For a load range E tire they aren’t as heavy as others either. I’ve ran Coopers on my last three trucks. The last set had over 25k on them and 12/32, before I traded the truck in. I think I could have easily got another 20-25k out of them.
