  1. Sorry for the late reply. All I did for the suspension was add a 1.5” motofab leveling kit to the existing Trail Boss lift. I have approximately 3500 miles on this set up, no issues with the ball joints.
  2. Stock wheels with 295/70 R18 Cooper Discover AT3/XLT.
  3. I went from 15-16 mpg around town and 18-20 mpg highway, to 12-14 mpg and 16-18 mpg respectively. I haven’t been on a long trip since the new tires yet but I’d say it would be around 22 mpg, down from 28 mpg.
  4. Added the 1.5” motofab leveling kit, and a set of 295/70 R18 Cooper AT3 XLT’s
  5. I hate to have to replace tires with 13/32 of tread left, but seriously considering it. I have an appointment with the dealer on Friday, we’ll see what they say first.
  6. Yep it’s perfect. It seems like the more the tires become feathered, the louder and worse it gets.
  7. Let me start by saying I’ve had lifted trucks all my life with big off-road all terrain tires. These duratrak tires are absolutely the worst tires I’ve ever had. I’m at about 15k miles, the noise and vibration between 30 and 60 mph is ridiculous. It’s actually starting to vibrate the truck apart from the constant humm. The hood latch/cable has worked its way loose and now has its own noise. It’s sad that a $56k truck has tires with over half tread left, and only 15k miles are going to need to be replaced before the truck rattles itself apart. Anyone else having this problem? Any luck getting support from GM?
  8. They are the stock tires 275/65 R18
  9. The guy I go to has his own machine to cut the patterns so he charges what is on the xpel website. Some people charge the website price plus $25 for each star of difficulty. In all I paid about $750.
  10. I initially was going to do just the bumper and ended up doing a mini kit on the hood, front bumper and the air vent things on the side. I’m extremely glad I did the hood. About a week after I had it done I took a really hit of a rock that made a tiny dent, but didn’t break through the Xpel. Had I not did the hood, I’d have a nice size rock chip. Since i I first had it done, the came out with a grill kit. I have had it applied as well.
  11. I’m at 7800 miles, with a good bit of stop n go driving an I have 79% in the front and 88% in the rear. I too have not checked this by any other method. Id say 20% in 1300 miles is a bit off.
  12. Mine did this once as-well. I reset all of them and it never did it again. Never figured out what caused it.
  13. I have a Trail Boss and they do not come with them. I average about 16.5 mpg, mix around town and highway…mostly around town.
  14. Have you noticed a change in fuel mileage with the larger/heavier tire?
  15. No particular reason at all, that’s just the timeframe when I did it.
  16. The only time mine automatically lowers volume when connected is when it’s on silent.
  17. I refinanced mine after 2 months, didn’t have any issues at all.
  18. That sucks, the only issues I’ve had with mine were the hard shift, that went away and the fish eye backup camera. I had a 14’ that had so many issues I ended up trading it in 15 months, for another 14’. The second one was flawless.
  19. Nitro Terra Grappler G2 in a 295/70 R18 can be bought in standard load. They are 51 pounds. https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/nitto-terra-grappler-g2/p/32298
  20. It will fix itself, the dealer told me it was learning its shift points. They were correct, I’m at about 6K miles and haven’t had the issue since about 1500 miles.
  21. Thats because it’s not a “radio”. It’s an infotainment center. I believe you can set the volume to automatically be at zero when you start the truck. Other wise I’d say muting would be basically the same as turning off the radio portion.
  22. Any issues with the Nitto’s? I’ve read some bad reviews on them balancing and having poor performance on wet pavement and grass.
  23. The only ones I could find in a standard load are Nitto’s. Anyone find anything different? I don’t really want to run a 10 ply tire.
