    rb10

any issues? suggestions? wear/peeling, anything - im considering ordering them
  2. Anyone with RB10s, RB20s, or D6 dominator steps? I'm on the fence. To be honest I would probably have ordered them if I didn't have issue with their finish in the past.
  3. $25USD for 2 pieces of plastic . Ugh im a sucker.... ordered direct.
  4. Fender mod, 3/2 level, or bodylift like mentioned. Or combo of a small level and body lift. Or just lift it. Cheaping out and mix matching components is bound to cause issues. or stay on 33s ahaha
  5. Got around to getting my light bar in. It's a 32" hyper series, 180w cree, with 3D optics. pictures don't do this thing justice - it travels 7-800'. It's hard to get good ones to display the actual output Edit: don't know why the order is messed up but pic 1 is with the bar and headlights with fogs, pic 4 is headlights and fogs only. The phone wouldn't focus well
  6. Left to right, step moms '17 1500 double cab LT true north edition, 5.3L old mans '17 2500 crew cab 6.5' box, 6.0L my '16 1500 LTZ71 crew cab 5.5' box, 5.3L
  7. Get then 5100s and set them at stock height, you'll thank yourself.
  8. Yep I would of left a nice "accidental" scrape front fender to rear. Good on you
  9. May be a lot more to do with our above and below freezing temps that promotes oxidation. Sometimes brass will turn from the humidity and salt in air - with no actual flow across it of any kind. Im on an island in the Atlantic Ocean and we use salt/sand on our roads lol.
  10. I really like the idea but I don't trust brass in our heavy salt sprayed roads. Very neat - would totally jump on this if I lived in warmer climates.
  11. haha makes sense. You don't find it too low? it doesn't look restricted at all. I asked my local dealer for a quote on install along with a couple other odds and ends. I would do it myself but I'm swamped at work and would like some warranty on the work and bar itself.
  12. Awesome thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'll be looking into this method as I have 30k miles on the truck, no preventative maintenance/mods done in regards to this buildup. Do you have any pictures, before and after?
  13. Can you give me a overview of the work involved with manually cleaning? Sounds like a fairly complicated and extensive job
  14. Guys, I have 30k miles on my truck, no catch can, no intake cleaning ever done. I average 15 mpg with mixed driving through the lifetime of the truck (6speed crew cab, 33" MT's, 3.43 gearing, leveled, black widow exhaust, airraid MIT). The best I've ever seen is 18MPG, MAYBE 20MPG, even new on stock tires and suspension. my questions are; 1) Is it too late for a catch can, is the damage done? 2) What can I say to the dealer to get them to look at the intake valves for suspected buildup? 3) Is it too late for intake cleaner on my truck? What are the hazards vs rewards? Any responses are appreciated. I'm scared shitless now after reading the extreme positive and negative stories around the intake buildup.
  15. Looks great. Nice job
  16. For anyone still struggling with this... Much easier and safer way to protrude through into the cabin.
  17. Nice setup, Can I ask why you chose the very bottom row as opposed tot he one above it? I would like to go in the slotted row above it to align with the signal lights straight across.
  18. Not sure how this is surprising when the valve cover vent lines are directed back into the intake tube. The same happens with the stock intake, it may just pool a little different with the tubular style.
  19. Tandem axle? You'll have no issues Here's a better front shot with a decent load in the trailer (16.5' steel chassis tandem axle) there are 2 snowmobiles in the trailer at the time.
  20. Looks good for 2"/3" setup. And a lot of ground clearance from pics. maybe its just the no-sidestep view. I'm assuming those are 33's?
  21. I have a 1" block in the rear with 5100s in both the front and rear, set at the hghest setting in the front. There is no ass dragging with 2-300 lbs. I'll try to get a pick of around 2000lb in the bed to show you that it is not drastic... Yes, I know - well above payload.
  22. No rust, just corrosion! just kidding but, they wouldn't last long in my climate
  23. tell me about it... 30" of snow and I spent most of my Saturday night towing people out. Fortunately, I made enough cash towing/plucking cars out of the snow to pay for the deductible.
  24. cleaned it up to show my new scar... $3600 in damages - I was out in a storm towing people that were stuck and slipped getting into the truck, let the door go and watched it wrap around my fender.
