  2. Installed my 2" lowering shackle kit and D2S projector kit and Morimoto HID kit from the retrofit source. Love it! stock on the right. It's pathetic lol. Upgraded one one the left Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Cross country trip from Ohio to Arizona crew cab short bed 5.3 w/ 22" wheels 3.42 gears with around 4-500 pounds in the bed averaged 70-80 mph the whole trip. 87 octane the whole way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. This issue I have is when I hit a small bump or hump in the road. I'm at the dealer now crazy enough it's coming from the front end haha. Seems like a strut or ball joint Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have a issue and it couldn't have came at a worse time as I'm moving to Arizona On Monday and I have no idea what is going on. I had my 2" lowering shackle kit installed 2 weeks ago and since I've put about 250 miles on the truck with no issues and today out of no where something started knocking in the rear end area of the truck. Not all the time just every so often. But enough to get very annoying. I followed all the guidelines on the thread to install them (folding bed seems and such) I checked under the truck and everything is still nice and tight so I'm not sure what I should do.. I don't have any of the needed tools to take anything apart or install the stocks back on. I'm hoping is something dumb cause quite a few ppl have them installed and have no issues. It's a quad cab short bed truck. Thanks for any input it's down to the wire now and everyone's closed today Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. It's really not that bad while cursing. You only really hear it when you're laying into it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Sounds great! Zero drone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Corsa sport cat back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. You're of great help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. See if you can find out which two products they used. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I'm in the same boat with the rust on my frame I brought the truck into the dealership and they said they're going to use a product called kryptonite has anybody heard of this is this what they've been using? He told me it's very expensive and has a very short shelf life.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I'm referring when the truck goes into v4 mode, you'll have some drone. Your car is a different story man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. You'll still have drone with the 50 Delta. It's still a chambered muffler. It may not be as bad as a 40 but it will still have some. The only mufflers with zero drone are straight thru designs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I had it dyno tuned. Hand held tuners are to sketchy with gas trucks I'm not a fan of them. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/158246-Dyno-pull-results-and-Corsa-Sport-Start-up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. First off.. If you're afraid to tune DONT tune. But with no risk comes no reward. I live my life by that saying. I don't plan on keeping the truck more than 4-5 years. I'll put it back to stock before I sell/trade it in for the next best thing. Also.. Just because you tune doesn't mean you're putting extra strain or making the motor work harder to turn the wheels.. It actually makes it run smoother and better than from the factory. I advanced the timing 3 degrees and air/fuel ratio 8.4% Staying within normal daily driving there will be no risk. It's not like I made it a hotrod and I drag race it everywhere lol. Believe it or not I haven't even floored it yet.. No reason to there is plenty of power. If something decides to blow up on me for no good reason that's the risk I'm willing to take. These trucks are built strong and are designed to take a lot more power than the dealer gives you. Just wait until somebody supercharges or throws a turbo on haha. Forced induction and internal motor work (cam ext) you're knocking on troubles door and are prone to blowing it to pieces. But even then it'll take quite a bit to do so. Have a lil faith in these trucks and stop letting the few that cry about them ruin your decisions. It's your truck. This custom tune was the best thing I've done and will ever do to the truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. All y'all demand to much lol. Just take the risk ppl! You will not be disappointed. I think Snap On says it best.. Nothing even comes close. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I haven't tried it personally but I do hear that ppl are experiencing some drone on the highway. There's a thread on it somewhere on the forum. Cry-- when it warms up some I plan to do another video. Way to cold out to mess with it now lol. I'm sure by then a few other members will have one installed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Go with a Corsa Sport. It's worth the extra coin I've said this many times. Also has ZERO* drone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Mine is set to only go into v4 mode after 55mph. I couldn't stand driving in the city with it always going back and forth.. Doesn't really bother me now and the mpg's do get effected when it's always in v8 mode. All thanks to my custom street tune. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I pulled 30hp over stock with a custom street tune from my local dyno shop. Minimal changes and the outcome was day and night. Trucks a whole new animal. Changed up the shift point and tc lockups and that made the biggest difference Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thought I'd throw another one in the mix.. Haven't seen her clean since day 2 hAha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Good thread on the muffler delete- http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/154538-Muffler-Delete Here's a video link to mine cost me 40 bucks- %20%20%20Sent'>http://youtu.be/mGAX4_Oi9PI%20%20%20Sent" rel="external nofollow"> http://youtu.be/mGAX4_Oi9PI Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Nice. Yeah Smokeys is a very good recommended shop across the board. There was about 4 mil worth of cars/trucks in the building while I was there haha. New C7 laying down 780hp to the wheels.. I got to sit in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yeah eventually I'll make some more vids when I can roll around with the windows down and actually enjoy being outside lol. This week it'll be in the teens most of the days/nights.. Check out the thread I have when the truck was on the dyno you can hear it some more. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/158246-Dyno-pull-results-and-Corsa-Sport-Start-up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
