  1. Exactly! I learned that first hand when I modded my 2014 Sierra, sold it for a decent profit and then bought another 2014 Sierra and did the same mods but the second one had clearance issues. It's weird
  2. I believe it's a huge misconception that the 2500 AT4's have the same setup as the 1500's. To my knowledge, the 2500 Denali and 2500 AT4 are the same. I think the main difference is the AT4 would be for the people that hate all the chrome. My AT4 has every option that the Denali beside it had
  3. Schmidty, I thought the AT4's had a 2" lift as well because that's what a guy locally told me, but according to a few different threads on this forum, thats not true. Only the 1500 AT4's have a 2" lift. I'm doing 37's on my AT4 but I think i'm gonna run my stock wheels. I just can't find any wheels that I LOVE, and if I do find something I really like, they are $1000-$2000 per wheel.
  4. What are the specs on you whole wheel/tire setup?
  5. Hopefully over time they'll get the kinks worked out. GM and our phone manufacturers. lol
  6. Well, it appears as if it's an IOS 14 issue. Tried my girlfriends phone and it worked perfectly. Hopefully they'll sort it out soon.
  7. I've read about many issues/bugs with the infotainment system with our trucks, but I think i'm having a new issue.. or at least I haven't found another thread addressing it. So let me start by saying that I'm an Apple user and my phone is running the newest IOS available. Today I noticed that when the phone is plugged in via lightning cable, I can't skip or restart a song with the controls on the wheel or directly from the dash. The volume works, but I can only skip using the phone itself. I have tried multiple factory Apple chargers using the USB and the USB-C plugs. To the best of my knowledge, it has worked fine up until now. I wonder if it's some glitch with Apple's new IOS or something with the truck. Anyone else experience this? Everyone in my house has the iPhone 11 running IOS 14.0.1... i'm gonna see if the neighbor has an older phone I can try and maybe that'll work
  8. This thread is simply for the lights in your fender trim that are amber colored from the factory. If you're referring to the painter fender flares, check out the thread below.
  9. Thanks, Nate. I'll have them in the mail and headed your way in the morning
  10. I agree, it crazy. I live in north Alabama and bought my new AT4 Duramax in North Carolina. Luckily 1-way flights were cheap and it was a nice scenic 500 mile drive home. I had to expanded my Autotrader search to a 500 mile radius before I found mine
  11. Awesome! Congrats. I work in the music industry and thats how I found out about Rocky. Most of the country music artists in Nashville use him for their truck builds.
  12. Who are you using? I've used Rocky's Tuff Trucks in Gallatin 2 or 3 times. He's great!
  13. Not sure what kind of gains or sounds they will get you, but Banks Power will be releasing their ram air intake and monster exhaust around November.
  14. Yeah you can put different shocks on. Cognito told me that our trucks have the same rear shocks from like 2011 to 2020, so I ended up going with the Fox shocks with external reservoirs for a 1-4" lift. They weren't part of a "kit" at the time I ordered but I think they are now. Whatever leveling kit you go with, whether it comes with shocks or not, you can get shocks to work with it. I know for a fact that Cognito will sale you just the Fox shocks if thats what you want, with or without external resi's. I saw two different shocks for our trucks, shocks for 0-1" lift and shocks for 1-4" lift. In my opinion, anything would be better than the shocks that come on the trucks. The Rancho's on my AT4 ride like crap
  15. As Dunn stated above, theres no way i'd put a cheap lift on a 60-70k truck. The Readylift may be a way better, but the Rough Country is garbage. If money is the deciding factor here, i'd just save up more money and get a better kit, but there's no way i'd sacrifice my ride just for minimal ground clearance and to fit new wheels and tires.
  16. Negative offsets move the wheel out towards the fender more.
  17. If the trucks they leveled maxed out the travel of the upper control arms, of course they probably rode like sh*t. I think the key to leveling these trucks and maintaining a decent ride is to find a reputable kit that includes new UCA's.
  18. Thanks. Seem like I do remember seeing that
  19. Ordered! Thanks
  20. I love my new AT4, but damn, your truck makes me wish I went with a Silverado High Country
  21. What type of grease are you guys using? I had ICON UCA's on my last truck and they recommended some type of molly ultra grease.
  22. I've kinda been leaning towards the all black JTX Forged Chamber wheel for my AT4...Just not that big lol. I might would consider 24's, but most likely i'll be doing a 22x12 on 37's
  23. Those Kelderman lifts with their 4-link and air ride is pretty dope. Did you see StreetSpeed717's (YouTuber/Instagram) 2020 High Country? That build was nuts. 10/12" of lift on 24x14 wheels with 38x15.50 Mickey Thompson M/T's
  24. I have the Cognito kit ordered along with a 2" rear block. I plan on running 37's on my factory AT4 wheels
