  1. I did, yes, but that was only on the Cognito control arms. To my knowledge they didn't rub the factory control arms, but I did just drive it from the tire shop to the lift shop, so I never looked to see how close they were to rubbing the OEM control arms.
  2. I had a vibration around 65-70 mph but that was before the 37's and the dealer fixed it by road force balancing my stock tires, so unfortunately, I may not be of much help.
  3. Mine doesn't have a vibration at any speed that i've noticed, so i'm not sure what could be causing yours. Did it have any vibration before the lift and spacers? Your truck looks great
  4. I agree, I definitely don't need anywhere near the towing capacity that I have, but I guess I come from the mentality of, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. The wife and I have been looking at some toy haulers though, so if we pull the trigger on that, then i'll be glad I've got the truck that I have.
  5. Maybe i'm not fully understanding what you're trying to say, but my 6.6 Duramax got 22-24mpg on the freeway before I put 37's on it. And even with 75 pound all terrain tires on each corner, I still get 18mpg.
  6. Never heard of this but I looked it up and seems interesting. Just curious, do they just go wild spraying everything under the truck or do they mask off things that aren't supposed to be coated?
  7. Which was the reason I posted that I ran a spacer to fix the rubbing on the control arms. I wanted to keep my stock wheels just like others may want to do, so thats an easy fix to the control arm problem. I definitely wouldn't advise someone to start grinding on a brand new set of $500 dollar UCA's
  8. Here is how much clearance I have now.
  9. I had this problem with my 37x12.50's when I did my Cognito lift and control arms. I bought 1" Venom hubcentric wheel spacers and now, problem solved. Not to mention the stance of the wheels and tires now look way better! But keep in mind, If you add the spacer, you're just gonna move the problem area from it rubbing on the control arms to now rubbing the liners and mud flaps, but with some minor trimming, I now clear everything.
  10. I think it comes down to how much lift you want. 2.5" more lift is a pretty decent amount. I went with the Cognito 3" Premier leveling kit that has the pitman and idler arm support kit and the Fox shocks with external resi's and UCA's and can tell you, it rides leaps and bounds better than the stock suspension. Mostly because you can adjust the dampening on the shocks. I originally ordered the Cognito 4" lift but due to Covid, the order kept getting delayed. Well, while I was waiting (2 months) I kept second guessing the lift I chose, and in the end, I decided to go with the Cognito 3". Not because money was an issue for me, but because I can tell you that there's no way in hell I could justify an extra $1700.00 to get 1" more lift. I have no problem spending 4-5K on a full blown big quality lift kit, but theres no way i'm spending almost $3800 on a glorified leveling kit. As for BDS, I originally was going to go this route because at first I wanted anywhere from a 7-9" lift, but i'm not sure how well that would work if we got the 5th wheel toy hauler we were looking at, so I settled for a high quality leveling kit and 37's. I can tell you I had the BDS 6" with Fox coilovers on my 2016 Sierra 1500 and it rode like a dream.
  11. Yeah it took a little over 3 months to get mine. I don't have that kind of patience, so needless to say I was extremely aggravated. lol
  12. Where's the copy of the TSB? I'm sure plenty of us here could use that info.
  13. Thats awesome to know! Yeah I don't care about the OnStar report as long as the app features still work.
  14. That looks great... what lift? and what offset are your wheels?
  15. Will eventually put on some AMP Research steps, but for now I don't hate these factory steps
  16. Never mind, looks like their 4-link is only for air ride.
  17. Check out Kelderman lift kits. That might be the closest thing you'll get. They offer some type of 4-link rear end set up that you might could do coilovers on, but i'm honestly not 100% sure. Oh and they are 10-12k for their kit if I remember correctly. Other than that, i think you're probably gonna be out of luck.
  18. Well that sucks! I use the app too much to give up that feature. I don't know how many times in the past with this truck and other GM trucks I had that i'll drop it off somewhere and lock my keys in it and tell the mechanic or girlfriend or whoever to call me and i'll unlock it for them. Not to mention heating it up or cooling it off. I travel about every week for work, so when I'm about 10-15 miles from being back to my truck, i'll start it and have it ready.
  19. Here is the thread... Hopefully its just a fluke cuz i'd like to have one too. They don't mention the Derringer, only the iDash, but we'd have to have that with the Derringer
  20. Agree with Kylant... a few people here have that wheel and tire combo and I believe they all have at least a 2.5" to 3" level and trim the wheel well liners and mud flaps.
  21. Do you ever use the app to unlock doors or start your truck? I do, pretty regularly, and i've read that with the Derringer plugged into the OBD port, you can no longer use those features or get any monthly OnStar reports.
  22. Mine was only rubbing the liners when I first put on the 37's, they didn't rub the stock control arms. I had to have the spacers to clear the Cognito upper control arms which pushed the wheels/tires outward and increases the rubbing issues on the liners and rub flaps. Assuming that you're running stock control arms, you can possibly trim or pull back the liners and secure them with zip ties but not 100% sure.
  23. I don't really off road but I just like having the ability of choosing how firm or soft my ride is. For example, theres a few bumps on the highway near my house and every time I would hit them with the stock shocks it jar the truck so much that it would feel like the back end came off the ground. Just extremely harsh, and that was with 10psi less in the stock tires. Once I added the Fox and set them on the middle setting, I no longer feel those harsh bumps in the road, they just absorb them and keep rolling.
  24. Yeah, take it to the dealer and let them deal with it. I read in one of these threads that theres an update to the infotainment system that fixes a few problems.
  25. I'm sure it rides better than a 04 Dodge, but if you've got the stock Rancho's, then you don't know what you're missing with a set of quality shocks. The Rancho's on my AT4 would just about rattle your teeth out if you hit any imperfection on the road. My new Fox shocks with adjustable external reservoirs have make this truck ride/drive like a dream now.
