  1. When I was shopping for lifts, it seemed as if more people were suggesting BDS over every other system available. I figured that had to be for good reason, so once I had decided on BDS, I spoke with my local off road shop about which kit. He said that I would be more than happy with the ride quality of the base BDS 6" lift. He then mentioned I could upgrade the rear to Fox shocks, but then when I asked about the front he said there was no upgrade unless I went with the Fox coilovers. Well, me being as OCD as I am didn't want to run two different types of shocks on the front and rear, so I went with the coilover option. He tried to talk me out of it even though it was a little more money in his pocket. But, I went with them anyways. He said they were over kill for the little off roading I would be doing, and maybe he's right, but I don't regret the decision one single bit, cuz mine rides like a dream. But according to my installer, you won't regret the base kit one bit either. He said every customer that they've sold the base BDS kit to has been extremely pleased with it.
  2. Just hit the button that says "quote" in the lower right hand corner of the post you're wanting to quote. Then just type your message like normal
  3. I have Fuel 20x10's with -24 offset and the shop did a decent amount of cutting and trimming, and it still rubs at full lock. If you don't want it to rub then you're going to need a lot less aggressive offset wheel and/or cut and trim a lot.
  4. To my guys with 6 inch+ lifts.... how much did you guys adjust your lights down? I haven't done mine yet and am getting flashed nightly. I wish I had thought to take a measurement on the headlight cut-off line before the lift. I love the factory LED headlights in the trucks, but Im sure the people on the opposite end of them feel differently.
  5. Well, I got an answer from Fox. I asked if their 2.5 reservoir shocks would fit a 4-6" lifted truck.
  6. Will those work with our 4-6" lifts? I saw them on Fox's website but they show them to work with a 0-1.5" lift
  7. Putting the Fox coilovers to use.
  8. I rarely like the white letters out but yours looks really good.
  9. Yeah I was on my MacBook and searched "high mileage"
  10. 6" BDS with Fox coilovers and tires are 35x12.50 Nitto trail Grapplers
  11. Other threads on the same topic. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/184946-any-high-mileage-2014/?hl=high+mileage http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/179942-who-has-the-highest-mileage-on-their-14/page-4?hl=high+mileage&do=findComment&comment=1720445
  12. Looks good! And it looks way taller than my 6" BDS lift. I wonder why
  13. Fuel Maverick D538 20x10 -24 offset
  14. I'll leave this here. It has a 6" BDS lift on 35's with a 1.5" spacer all around.
  15. 69 with a 350 and a 4-speed Muncie right now. Its getting a LS3-525 transplant and 6-speed T56 magnum this winter.
  16. Got the truck lifted last week and the Camaro back from paint the day after.
  17. My girlfriend has a Subaru CrossTrek and she was able to click and un-click the seatbelt like 20 times in 30 seconds and it disables the seat belt chime. Maybe GM has something like that. Good Luck
  18. What size wheels and offsets did you go with?
  19. Thanks for your response. I haven't had much time to spend checking things out on the truck just yet. I picked it up and drove it to the airport and then left. but when I get home i'll check it out and see what kind of spacers he installed. I don't know if running spacers front and rear is just something they prefer or maybe they think it looks best with spacers. I was able to get a friend to snap a pic and send it to me and I also forgot I snapped a picture at the shop.
  20. So you didn't have to use spacers on the front with your lift? I just got the BDS 6" lift with fox coilovers and the installer said in order for me to use my factory All Terrain wheels i'd have to run spacers in the front and then in the back if I wanted it to match up. I don't have a picture right now because i'm out of town on a business trip, but my front and rear wheels stick out WAY more than yours do. I wouldn't think so, but would the coilover system increase track width over the standard 6" BDS kit?
  21. So a couple of months ago I put a 2" RC level with 285/65-20 K02's on my 2016 All Terrain. Well, it's left me wanting more. So i'm going 6" BDS with Fox shocks. The only problem is, I can only get the Fox shocks for the rear and not the front on the kit i'm looking at. Or... I can go with the BDS kit with the full Fox coilover suspension. Its about 1500.00 more, but thats not really a problem. I guess my main question to anyone running the coilover set-up is, do you feel like it was worth the extra cash or is it a bit overkill? I mean I definitely plan to have some fun off-road but at the end of the day, it'll still be my DD. Thoughts??? I just don't want to get the "base" kit and then regret it and wish I had gone with the coilover kit.
  22. Have a link by chance? Thanks in advance
  23. I'm pretty sure they are only for the rear...or at least they used to only be for the rear when I was researching them on my 2014.
