  1. 2016-2018 GMC Sierra Elevation grille that's been professionally painted black. This is a brand new OEM grille. I bought it from a member on here, but also decided to go with a different grille. The grille itself looks fantastic, the only reason for going with another grille is I have seen another truck identical to mine with the same grille, and I want to have something different... $500 shipped. Only asking what I paid for it. Current location: 54016 Thanks!

  4. Does anyone know how to turn off the seatbelt chime in a 2016 GMC Sierra truck. and please don't say buckle your seat belt. Thanks.
  5. I’m sure this had been asked 20x but I can’t seem to find it. I’m looking to add some tow mirrors to my 2018 Sierra elevation package. Has power mirrors, non power fold, has defrost, and does not have turn signal. Which are best mirrors for this? Also can I hook into wiring harness and add turn signal as well? Thanks again!
  6. John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 6-6-2018 GMC launched its new Elevation appearance package for the 2019 Sierra today. This new trim is different from other 2019 Sierras in that it has monochromatic (body color) door handles, bumpers and grille surround. These changes are offset by black exterior accents, a black grille insert, tow hooks, black side window trim and standard 20-inch aluminum wheels. “The 2019 Sierra Elevation conveys a youthful, athletic presence that demonstrates GMC’s tailored approach,” said Rich Latek, GMC marketing director. “With inherent truck capabilities and functionality, Elevation is able to take you off the beaten path along with your gear while standing out from the pack.” The 2019 Sierra Elevation starts as the new larger double cab model and will be offered with two- or four-wheel-drive. The base engine will be the all-new 2.7-liter turbocharged engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission delivering 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque. Optional will be the updated 5.3-liter V-8 and in early next year, the Sierra Elevation will also be offered with GM’s new 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six-cylinder engine, along with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Pricing has not been announced. Look for the new 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation starting in the fall of 2018.
  7. Brand new GMC Sierra SLE crew, when I'm parked and I turn the high beams on I hear a clanking noise under the hood? But not when I'm driving. Is this normal? (First time GMC owner)
  8. I recently bought a brand new 2018 GMC Sierra Elevation SLE. After having it for a few days and putting on 500 km, I decided to check the fluid levels. I noticed that the oil was on the lower side, meaning, it almost showed that there was minimal oil in the engine. I find this strange, seeing as normally you see the oil bubble on the dip stick between the 2 indicators. In my case, there was no proof of an oil bubble. It seems very faint and thin-looking on the dip stick. Just curious if this is how the new GMC's are, or am I just running on seriously low oil?
  9. Earlier in the year i did a muffler delete on my 2017 Sierra 1500 Elevation. Here's an interior video of the exhaust volume for those of you that are looking to do the same thing. Cheap way to get a good result!
  10. I have a 2016 Denali and 2016 SLT grille that I would like to trade for either an All Terrain or Elevation Grille with black surround.

  14. Hey everyone, i'm new on here and made an account to ask about recomendations for a leveling kit for my truck. This is my first truck and I don't know anything about what kit to buy, what brand, whats a good price, what exact kit I need for what I want to do and so on. My truck is the elevation model so I think it's alittle higher than normal sierras' in the back. I know they all have a standard rake to them I measured mine and it seems to be about 3 inches. Basically all i want to do is raise the front 3 inches to match the back because I hate how it currently looks. I already have a guy installing it who knows what he is doing, SO what do I buy..? looking to spend up to 250 300 max on equipment and Im willing to go expensive because I love this truck. Thanks for the suggestions. ( image is the same as my truck for reference)
  15. I have a 2015 GMC Sierra and was wondering how or if it's even possible to remove the skid plate (part #22902312/22902313/22902314) without removing the entire bumper. Also note that I have tow hooks so I'm not sure how different it is than without. I have seen plenty of videos out there on how to remove the bumper as a whole which is what I should be doing in the first place, but it would be nice to remove just the skid plate which I can't seem to find anything online about. Sorry if there's already a post about this but if it exists I wasn't able to find it. I already have the air deflector taken off permanently and I looked under my truck and removed the bolts on the bottom of the skid plate and some other miscellaneous bolts from behind that I really couldn't tell if they actually held the skid plate there or not. I also noticed some clips at the top of the skid plate but before breaking anything and removing a bunch of bolts for nothing, I thought I would come here first and ask. Thanks.
  16. Hey guys, I need a little info and help. I'm looking at getting another truck for work. A sierra elevation edition. If someone has purchased and doesn't mind telling me ( I don't need to know exact ). But about how much did you purchase the truck for... I know the truck is basically the work truck 4x4 with painted bumpers, wheels, etc. Just trying to figure out if I will be paying too much or if I am getting an ok deal. Any info/opinions is greatly appreciated. Like I said I'm not trying to get into anyone's financial business... just looking for a few rough numbers. Thanks, and have a great day!
