  1. Could possibly be coming from the torque converter. Check the trans fluid for any metal shavings in the fluid. Do you have a check engine light on?
  2. How's it drive? Is it shifting funny?
  3. I've found fasteners I've needed at this place. Check them out. https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/default.asp?Click=180200&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAzPy8BhBoEiwAbnM9O3SI6UwxhrSXtW7xz9ephe4dBtW51v9q-vxmyWoyK2u34Mufjnuh5RoCoHkQAvD_BwE
  4. Check this video might help your situation.
  5. If you use Amazon just type in tpms sensor for 2018 Silverado in the search bar and all options will come up. It will say if it fits your vehicle.
  6. Check the fuse in the underhood fuse box. Drl has it's own fuse.
  7. Right you change the whole valve. You only have to break the valve side of the tire down. If you don't rotate the tire on the rim no need to rebalance.
  8. Battery is about dead. I change these on my vehicles myself, pretty simple to do. Go on Amazon and order some new ones you can get them for around $20 - $30 for four. They are vehicle specific so make sure you get the right ones. You'll also need the relearn tool usually about $10.
  9. Make sure you are getting power to the socket. If it's a led light the whole tail light will have to be replaced. The LEDs are not serviceable.
  10. Sounds like something got shorted in the battery distribution block if it wasn't hooked up correctly.
  11. To reset the radio in a 2018 Silverado, press and hold the "Home" button on the radio screen for approximately 10 seconds; this should initiate a reset of the infotainment system, including the radio settings. Key points to remember: Locate the "Home" button: This is usually a prominent button on the radio screen. Hold the button: Press and hold the "Home" button firmly for at least 10 seconds. Observe the screen: The radio display might go blank momentarily while resetting.
  12. I tried posting a link to a video on YouTube but it keeps getting blocked. So check out South Main Auto on you tube he has a lot of good videos on Silverado grounding issues.
  13. My 2018 Silverado alarm kept going off. Replaced hood latch no problem since.
  14. Check out this video
  15. If you have or know anyone with a Go pro camera attach it under the truck and see if you can pin point it.
  16. Is it a 4 wheel? If so have you changed transfer case fluid and front diff oil?
  17. That sounds like something grinding. Have you looked at the brake pads? On my 2018 Silverado I had to change out all the brake pads at 32,000 miles. All the inner pads were worn down to metal. Outer pads were barely worn.
  18. You can try and disconnect the front drive shaft and drive it and see if noise stops.
  19. Have you looked at the brakes? I had to do brakes on my 2018 Silverado at 34,000 miles due to the inner pads on all four wheels being down to metal. The outer pads were in good condition. I wouldn't have seen it without doing a deep inspection.
  20. Check the wiring. I saw some where where the wiring is to short and after awhile it breaks. I think that was a front door though.
  21. The extra plug is probably for the cooled seat. Not sure how you would bypass that. Sorry.
  22. Did the check engine light come on? If I were to make a guess I'd say the torque converter took a dump.
  23. Ok two things. Is the fluid full and how many miles on it?
