    We had a 3 hour drive to Thanksgiving dinner last year, wife plugged in our crockpot and cooked baked beans all the way. Smelled pretty good!!

    My bro in law took a piece of plastic about the same thickness as the seat belt latch and cut it out the same shape. He leaves it plugged in all the time and never uses his sear belt......... I'm a big believer in seat belts and never travel without one.

    I'm guessing we can't roll the windows up because of a safety issue. Maybe unseen children in the truck with their heads hanging out.

    My new 2015. I didn't like the chrome handles at first, now I'm happy with them. A little window tint, tonneau cover, husky floor mats and removal of the spacer between rear end and leaf spring and I'm happy for now.

    Welcome to the group. I've had several trucks do this and my daughter's minivan and my granddaughters VW beetle do the same thing, My truck has done it several times but it really doesn't bother me. I'm not trying to make light of your problem, but there is really nothing wrong with the truck. If you can, try to shut it off with the front wheels straight.

    I have downloaded movies to a SD card and play when waiting for the wife . I downloaded them from YouTube in the mp4 format. The truck has to be in park for them to play. It seems most of the movies I have seen are captioned in what I think is Viet Namese, but the language is English. There are usually some recent releases available.

    My bro-in-law just bought a Silverado in the ruby red, love it. It has lots of metallic in it and looks great freshly polished. Here is a pic of the back end in my garage the other day.
