  1. A bike by definition has two wheels. That is not a bike. Check your latin root, Bi....it means two.
  2. i wouldn't want it to be the same as the factory if the factory setup is making noises it shouldn't.
  3. Unless GM didn't want to waste the oil. This also gives the customer the impression they are getting a special service for their special car. They are trying to build value from a mistake. Just so you know, it IS the case. I own a C7. I am also in the car business, if you know what I mean. ;-)
  4. Remember you have to break in the transmission and differentials, too.....
  5. It's only for the dry sump Z51 and Z06, not the wet sump C7. The truck is a wet sump so don't worry about it. A lot of the dry sump cars were coming overfilled from the factory and the manual stated the wrong oil fill amount and they were puking oil into the intake tube and getting all in the intake manifold and leaking onto people's garage floors and driveways through the airbox so the early oil change is basically a way for them to correct any potential fill level issues, NOT because of break in as stated. Again, this has ZERO to do with trucks.
  6. the Z51 has a dry sump but the non Z51 has a wet sump just like the truck. intake manifold is different and exhaust system is different (of course - car vs truck, Ypipe vs Xpipe). truck makes 40 less HP when stock.
  7. which ones did you use? i tried that in my 2500 and all that happened is they didn't work....

  10. Kooks long tubes and Y-pipe your choice of catback. done.
  11. I like the air dam, I think the trucks look goofy without it.
  12. My stock wheels were 18s with crappy tires, which I ordered because I knew they were getting replaced. the ride is different, the tires are stiffer, i run 45 psi in them, and it is almost like adding bigger front and rear sway bars, it doesn't roll over as much. it feels much more controlled. i would not say it feels uncomfortable at all. it feels better.
  13. It's basically flush with the fenders. That is just a quick phone pic, when the weather clears up I'll take some good ones.

  15. i got some morimoto hids and love them. soooo much nicer and brighter than stock bulbs. also, make sure you aim your lights, especially if lifted or leveled. no one flashes me at all.
  16. Deceleration Fuel Cutoff has been a part of GM's fuel strategy for at least 15 years....since the late 90s. I don't remember the first tune I saw it in but 0% throttle definitely means no fuel injector activity until it drops below around 1100 RPM and it kicks back in for idle.
  17. my 14 vette uses 3/8.....some are going to 5/8 on the fresh air lines.
