  1. Possibly but it only does it between 20 and 30mph and no were else . Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  2. For me that wouldn't be the cause because I have the Vibration but my truck is 2wd .
  3. Mine is pretty much on the steering column and steering wheel but its only a little bit but enough to be annoying . What I dislike the most is the Audible sound it's like driving on a rumble strip type sound or how when you have a your windows down on certain cars and you get that pulsating type window noise . I noticed when I roll all my windows down you can't hear it and actually a few times I thought the vib was gone but figured out it was just because my windows were down . Even though you could still barely feel it not having the sound and vib at the same time made it much less noticeable . Or if your on a rough road you don't notice it .I really like my truck to with the exception of the slight vib and starting to learn to live with it but it's a really shame because they are such nice trucks and Excel in so many other areas.
  4. With mine you mostly only real feel it in the steering wheel all though you can feel it a little on the arm rest but with a rough road it's not noticeable lol .. But the Audible sound is annoying . I'm guessing mine isn't as bad as some is because the problem area is at lower speeds . Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  5. Good luck hope they fix it for you . It's strange how our trucks have the same vib issue just varies with the amount of vibration and what speed it does it .Mine is smooth as silk at any speed except for 20 to 30mph . I'm kind of glad it doesn't do it at any freeway speeds but then again it is kind of annoying around town because your constantly in the problem area 20 to 30 . Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  6. LoL great idea ! You must work for GM [emoji14]What's funny though is I have learned how to adjust my driving to make it less noticeable . Like slowing down later when coming to a light or when between 20 and 30 mph getting out of vib zone as quick as possible . Yup Chevy has got me trained [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  7. I have a 2014 V6 2wd with the towing package and locking diff . My truck has a slight vib only between 20 and 30 mph . You can also hear it but if you roll both windows down you can't notice it . As I replied earlier in this thread I took it to my local dealer for a oil change and explained the vib issue . They checked it out and said it was normal so to say the least I was disappointed . They don't have that vib tool yet to help locate the area of the issue so they did say to bring it back after they get one and theyll check it out again . So my next oil change I'll probably have them take a look . What's strange about my vib is when under acceleration it doesn't do it or at least you can't feel or hear it at all . But slowing down , coasting or just maintaining speed between 20 and 30mph is when it does it .
  8. I only have 17s on mine but I swear my vib is getting better and almost gone .Got my fingers crossed !
  9. Ok I just asked the dealer that had my truck if they have that new vib tool to try and locate the problem and he said its on order and to feel free to bring my truck after they have it and they'll look into farther .
  10. I think the next closest dealer is around 50 minutes away were I bought it, didn't ask if they hooked up the vib tool or not but I will when I pick it up . . I'm going to think about it and if it gets worse or really starts bugging me more I'll probably take it to another dealer . That's strange these trucks do it at different speeds depending on the truck . At freeway speeds it's smooth as silk or anywhere really just not between 20 and 30 mph . Think I'm going to just try and enjoy the truck the way it is and not go threw months of aggravation fighting it . Good luck with yours and at least we don't have the violent shakers like some . I'd be really mad if it did that but then again maybe they'd be trying to correct the problem if it did .
  11. Ok well just got a call from the dealer after dropping it off this morning he said they have a few new 2015 trucks on the lot I can drive that does the same thing and unfortunately Chevrolet does not have a fix for the problem so there's nothing he can do for me . They haven't done the oil change yet so guess I'm picking the truck up in the morning . Very disappointing to say they least so either I fight it with GM or put a leveler on it and some all terain tires because my vibrations aren't to bad probably won't even feel it with a set of all terain . Pretty shitty though that Chevy is still selling& building these trucks with these known issues . Probably will be my last Chevy that's for sure . I'd sell it right now but I'm not going to take a 5 or 6000 dollar hit of depreciation for truck I've owned for only 4 1/2 months . If it was a violent shaker like some have reported id probably dump it and take the hit. But being its not that bad I'll probably just drive it for a few years but again very disapointing because it is a very nice truck with the exception of the slight vib between 20 and 30 mph . Also the service writer mentioned it doesn't do it that bad to warrant tearing the truck apart . Oh well it is what it is I guess .....
  12. Well wish me luck I dropped my 2014 Silverado 2wd in today at my local Chevy dealer for its first oil change and for the 20 to 30mph vibration /shake . My service writer was very nice and professional and I didn't even need to ask for them to go on a test ride with me so I can show them the problem .They suggested it before I did and anyway Went for a ride and they acknowledged the issue and said this is the first truck to come in with the vibration . They don't think mine is a tire/wheel balance problem because it only does it between 20 and 30 mph . But there going to need my truck for a few days to research the issue so they know we're to start and try to fix it . Mine isn't a violent shake like some have experienced maybe because it's only 2 wd and it only does it at lower speeds . But it still is annoying since that area it happens in 20 to 30 mph is in the city driving area I do 50% of the time . You can feel it in the steering wheel , gas peddle and a little on the floor . Not so much when accelerating but more coming to a light and slowing down or just maintaining speed in the problem area . Best way to describe the way mine feels it's like I'm running an aggressive all terrain tire "which I'm not '' or on a mild rumble strip and you can kind of hear it to . Well wish me luck on my adventure I'm hoping it all works out my dealer seems pretty straight forward and acknowledging the issue is a good start and they even provided me with a loaner at no charge .
  13. Mine is going in Monday morning for its first oil change and to check out my 20 to 30mph vibration . Feels like driving on a rumble strip and starts exactly from 20mph to 30mph . Can be felt in gas peddle and steering wheel / floor board . When under hard acceleration it's not noticeable but slowing down for a stop sign or light acceleration it is . Very annoying I hope they can fix it : (
  14. Saddly I have now developed the dreaded vibration that starts at exactly 20 mph and stops exactly at 30 mph . Doesn't vibrate at any other speed very strange . You can feel it in the steering wheel and gas peddle also a little on the floor Board . It feels like your on a pebbled street or rumble strip . Anyway I will be taking it in for service in the near future . Love this truck but the vibration is very annoying . Didnt really notice it for a while but now that I have I don't enjoy my truck as much . Freeway speeds are smooth but city driving is when I'm in and out of the vibrating mph . Accelerating you don't feel it but steady speed anywhere between 20 and 30 mph or stopping for a light it does it . Hope they have a fix : (

  22. Thanks that does help ! I'd really like to see some 17s and stock tires though . I hear Ya I should just get it and enjoy it but I can't lol ? Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  23. Anyone happen to have any pictures of there truck with the stock 17" and and stock tires with a 2.25" leveler or 2 1/2 . I'm getting a little worried since I ordered the ReadyLift that my truck might look ridiculous with all that wheel well and smallers tires . I'm going to have to drive it for a few months like that so I'm getting a little concerned .
  24. Thanks much that's going to be very helpful !
