  1. I have 275/65/20 on 2.5" level and had rubbing of the carpet liner. Zipties it back and am fine now.
  2. I kept stock AT wheels and went 275/65/20 on a 2.5" level. I did rub the carpet wheel liner but after zipties no rub
  3. How did you zip tie em? I zip tied mine but not happy with way I did it and looking for new ideas
  4. Just installed 2.5" RC level and 275/65/20 Toyo Open Country AT II tires on stock 20" all terrains. I do have rubbing on the carpet wheel liner on both sides but will fix that today.
  5. Hadnt heard that many issues but guess i got lucky. Was supposed to get 55w but 35w ballast showed up so just installed that. With 5500k bulbs its good enough for me and the wife
  6. The issue is it cost more and they are on back order. So you have to factor that in to what you think is better. Guys with bilatein will have to comment more though
  7. Doing my first ever level next week. Is it better to do shock upgrade when put level on or can it be done (relatively) easy at anytime? If the 2.5" level makes the ride real harsh may have to look into adding fox shocks on rear
  8. How do you like the level so far? I was set on RC 2.5" but my shop recommended procomp. Said they'd do whichever I wanted though.
  9. After running both would you still go back to ST Maxx or stick with the toyo?
  10. It seems everyone on this forum says they went with BFG KO2 but I want to look at other options in A 275/65r20. Anyone have any experience with any of the following? Toyo Open Country AT2 ($1000) Cooper Discover ST Maxx ($1150) Cooper discover AT3 ($950) BFG T/A KO2 ($1180)
  11. Here is my xb35 5.5k retrofit source conversion
  12. Decided on doing the RC 2.5" level since wife has concerns about full size (6-7") lift with kids in future. Planning on mid to aggressive AT tires in Size of 275/65r20's or 285/60r20's with stock all terrain wheels. Just need to find reviews and pics of both. Based on this level and tire size should I upgrade to fox shocks in The back or just stay with stock?
  13. Ended up with the retrofit source morimoto Xb35 and 5500k installed today. Will test them out this weekend as I have a two hour trip to Austin and won't be home til late.
  14. Yea, i must have read it in the level truck thread. Thought I saw it somewhere else
  15. Is a BFG KO A/T 285/65r20 to much for stock all terrain rims? Looks to be about 34"x11" so guessing I will have rubbing if stock height? Found a good deal on a set and hoping they will work
  16. You must have something wrong with yours. Mine puts out decent amount of bass for a 6" and low powered amp
  17. Looks good, what all did you go with?
  18. Think i decided on the TRS and now to determine if 35w or 50w. Still want to look up other options since driving to Houston to get thehidfactory install
  19. Since im in texas I saw the state inspection paperwork in glovebox and it arrived on the lot about 6 July. That and I saw it on the website at end of June and noticed it was to be delivered first week July
  20. I drove a new '15 sierra ccsb today and on the highway i felt a weird "bumpy" feeling. I took the same highways home in the truck I drove to trade in and didnt feel it. Is there somewhere to look without reading 338 pages what exactly the vibration you all are getting is? My saleswoman said she's never heard of such a thing but after dealing with her i wouldn't trust her farther than I could throw her. I test drove another few months back but it sold before i could test drive it again and dont remember feeling the bumpy/vibration. Since it wasn't felt in the my truck I doubt it was the road. Edit - saw some the videos on last page and was far from as bad as you guys. Wondering if this truck will turn into that or if I was just being paranoid after hearing about vibration issues.
  21. So never lifted a truck before and talked to a local shop. I have no idea what the average install time/cost should be. This is what they quoted, does it look in line with what I should be paying? FTS 7 inch Basic $2650 out the door. FTS 7 inch with Coilovers $4350 out the door. BDS 4 or 6 inch $2750 out the door. 6 inch Coilover $4350 out the door.
